"Doctor Who: Powers of Ten" (OOC)

yes but wouldn't that fall more under a cartoon network stupid thing?

Just like them canceling the GL animated series

You know I love Green Lanterns, Vic.

Like, I actually loved Kyle Rayner.

But that series was boring as paint drying, I'm sorry, making room for "Beware the Batman" was one of the smart things DC's done of late.

Canceling "Young Justice" for warmed-up comedy leftovers from a series that already had a four season run, not so fucking much.

And CN is all part of Time-Warner, which is DC Entertainment's parent company. It's all the one thing, e pluribus unum.

I have to admit, I liked a couple episodes of that!
I also feel that they are doing something stupid every day they aren't working on a Wonder Woman movie.

Yes.

Yes, no progress on a well-thought-out, empowering Diana movie utterly equals "stupid today counter goes back to zero."

Which episodes did you like?

I am going to say ALL OF THEM but you need not feel pressured to embrace it so thoroughly.

yes and no.

the problem with WB, as compared to say paramount /viacom is that WB doesn't operate as one entity. This is coming straight from JMS the creator of B5. WB maybe be the parent company however they let the different "branches" run themselves and actually prefer to keep them seperate. This is why Smallville had issues getting permission to do Batman because all of the Batman rights were in the hands of the movie division. It's also the reason that although tv's Green Arrow has been politicing to be GA in the Justice League movie, he more than likely won't because of how WB does business. the Motion picture side doesn't like crossing paths with the tv side.

Paramount actually used to have full control of trek, but that changed and now Paramount only has control of the movie side, and CBS has the tv rights. Which is why we haven't seen a new Trek on tv even after the new movies, because those two sides are having a WB style fight with each other.

In that case, I take the blame for "YJ" off of DC's "stupid list."

That doesn't make it a lot shorter, though.

I don't think I've watched a single episode of that, to my sudden horror.

I need to go back and do that once I've caught up on "Ben 10."

Yeah, a couple of tweens and a teen.

...you should probably watch more. When you're done with "YJ." I can wait.

It's not often that I gaze solemnly at the closing credits of a thing and murmur "thank you."

That's what I did to the credits of the closing movie.

THAT'S HOW GOOD THIS SHOW WAS

Peter Cullen as Optimus and Frank Welker as Megatron.

The originals.

And it's-- oh my God-- Arcee is so much more than just The Girl, and Bumblebee is--

Oh, you said "okay."

:: sheepish ::

Added to my Netflix queue :rose:
