and I know nothing about Eight... but I imagine the Doctor gets annoyed with constant questions because they're either questions he doesn't want people easily knowing the answer to (like how the TARDIS works) or because he finds them to be 'stupid' questions.

Which both I can understand. It's very frustrating when you're constantly getting questions that contain answers that to you are as plain as the sun rising. After awhile you just want everyone to shut up and let you work in peace for a moment.

So, apparently, The BBC superimposed an advert for Graham Norton over the bottom half of the screen as Eleven was doing that ginchy bad-ass speech at the end of the latest episode.

This only goes to show, for those of you who complain about every last thing Eleven does, well, it could have been worse.

Also, it totally explains how my black cats could walk through walls when they were kittens.

Makes me wonder, though, if the little grey-striped cat is descended from a Greycoat clan. He certainly acts like a lionheart, given his attitude problems.

I imagine that Jack hasn't found much of anything on his scans.

What he might detect is the shortish-ranged transmat device by which one or more of the abductees-- including Donna --were, well, abducted.

Also, the Sontarans outside are waking up, and Judoon are on their way quick smart, but I would think Jack's sufficiently tactical after his little nap to not risk opening the door and letting them inside, even to take a potshot or two at them.
