The common failing among Democrats is that they cannot remember that illegal aliens are illegal aliens, not immigrants.

That would be a category of immigrants.
For example - if someone crosses the border and claims asylum, they are a class of immigrant that is protected under the law.
Perhaps the conflation of the word "illegal" is why you obfuscate the cause of crime in their districts.

Only if you don't count their initial criminal offense. If you do, then 100% of them is a criminal.
Their initial offense was a misdemeanor.. If you're ticketed for speeding, or even DUI, society does not classify you as a "criminal" and should not.
