“Who are you and what are you doing in my house?”
This is what Bree asked the figure standing in her bedroom doorway, which she currently stood in front of. Having heard a noise inside the house she had rose from her bed in the middle of the night to check what it was, thinking that her dog had knocked something over. Not bothering to pull anything else on she had planned to head down stairs in her tank top and shorts which she slept in. What had stopped her was when she had finally headed for the door she noticed the figure standing in the doorway. Freezing on the spot she felt horror sweep through her as she thought of a number of reasons why a stranger would be in her house, none of them where good.
Why hadn’t she heard the dog barking? Where was the dog? Bree wasn’t very tall, nor was she very intimidating, that is why she had gotten the dog in the first place but she knew one thing she could fall back on, she had a loud scream. Looking at the figure she realized that it was male, she could see from the build of his body but it was his eyes that got her attention they weren’t normal and some how she felt like she had seen them before. Suddenly the figure turned and ran, Bree didn’t know what to do and with out thinking she ran into the hall and looked around but he was no wear in sight. Had there really been some one there or was it her imagination. As if to prove that she was imagining things her dog came up the stairs and looked at her as if puzzled by her being up.
“Must have been a dream,” she though as turned and headed back to bed. Curling up under the covers she felt like she couldn’t sleep until she felt the familiar weight of her canine friend behind her and she sighed and closed her eyes. “You will protect me won’t you boy,” she whispered before giving into sleep.
((Looking for some to play the role of Bree’s dog, who is really a dog by day and a man by night. You can make up the back story as you want.))
