Dolf Says The Atmosphere on the BDSM Board Stinks

Hi
The time to give up the corrections nursing is when days like that DON'T piss you off.

Hang in there, not every day is a bad one.

On the topic of jobs..

For personal reasons I walked out of my job six weeks ago.
Prior to that I worked as an inspector of care homes for two years but the job ground me down.
Previous to that my career has always been in learning disabilities (mental handicap) but I was bitten and beaten once too often and said time to move on.

So, I need a job and as from Monday I am back working for a company I worked for 3 yrs ago, managing a care home for adults with extreme challenging behaviour and a difficult staff group.
The same home I declined to manage three years ago because I wanted a new direction.

So my slight change of direction lasted only a brief time, the staff have heard I am a hard person to work for and apparently don't want me there, and its back to being on call 24/7 and potentially hurt or having under my care hurt.

God I must be mad because despite all of this a small part of me is looking forward to the challenge.

Of course it means I can't be on the 'net all the time as i have been, but at least the bills will be paid again.

Nursing is worse than drugs..on bad days you hate it, but you keep going back for more; and on good days you wonder when the next bad day will jump up and bite you lol

Now, that’s funny. See why.

#3? Or has that been conveniently forgotten?

You might consider taking a moment next time to check if Marquis (or the rest of us gansta ass niggas) has his tongue in his cheek. You really don't have to be an insider to spot an inside joke--"benefit of the doubt" goes a long way.

Exactly ... we must all be certifiable.

I think part of it was the atmosphere. In Hawaii I was eating sushi outside on a balcony hanging over the ocean. In Nagoya, it was inside a rather lovely yet surreal teahouse, where I felt rather Alice in Wonderland-ish.

LOL, I know exactly the type of surreal teahouses you're talking about.

I believe Nagoya is better known for it's incredible Miso than it's sushi. I ate sushi a restaurant in the middle of the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo. There's nothing like waking up at 5am to eat at a restaurant only open until 11am in the biggest fish market in the world to prepare you for a fabulous meal, but I still wasn't prepared. If you ever get a chance to go back to Japan, you won't be dissapointed in Tsukiji.

I just came back from Maui where I had some fabulous food, but I'll be sure to do a nice sushi dinner here on Oahu before I leave. I'll be able to compare better then.

Awwww, I didn't think anyone would notice.

If you're ever in Florida by the way, one of my girls wants to fuck you in the ass with a strap-on.

Well, I uhh... er.... I have never left this country. Victoria is exotic... right?

It should be 800 bucks round trip. 400-500 bucks one-way. This is just an estimation. 400 both ways to San Diego from Edmonton (350 from Vancouver), 600 from Edmonton to Houston (probably the same with Vancouver).

Nagoya is better known for it's miso, but it ( the sushi) was also less expensive there. Japan is possible next summer. I've been wanting to go back for ages.

edited for clarity

Yeah, and I'd have to take a plane to vancouver in the first place lol.
When I start my college program I'm probably going to have a few travel options for the Co-op program but I doubt any are in the states.
Either way I'm getting outta this damn place lol, have I mentioned how much I hate it here?

After careful examionation of General Board and couple of tests, I concluded it is a good place for occasional ramping when one feels moody and pugnacious.

Funny how some of permanent inhabitans there react on me - sort of like pack of hyenas would react on approaching lion. Quite remarakable.
