Being a Dom is who I am, but it is still only a PART of who I am. I don't identify as a Dom and a Dom alone. There are many more parts that make me up as a whole.
I do NOT equate being a Dom as a reason/excuse to be an asshole, selfish, mean, or uncaring.
I am very much a gentleman, believe in chivalry, and have good manners.
I don't understand when a sub will concentrate on a man's Dominant side and ignore the rest. They leave themselves open to abuse, being used, and heart break.
The man makes the Dom. Not the other way around.
"like"I apologize. I did not realize I had a twelve hour deadline to respond. Seeing as you only sent me the message at 3pm est yesterday and posted this at 3am est. I would hope someone open to ideas would be open to the idea that life gets busy and patience is a virtue.
I will respond right now. And no, age will not be a factor in my response.
How a person acts and carries themself is far more important to me.
I have to say there is a lot more than that response that I like about this thread. I've been quite lucky in that when I have gone searching for a dom I have found those whom like you understand all the little intricacies. Very early on I had someone to teach me the true balance of power within dom/sub.
A caring, respectful Dom is restricted by his sub's limitations at any one time. A sub, however, is only limited by themselves and that if you trust your Dom (and yourself) enough you can become much more open.
A good book for any novice sub's would be The Story of M (also a great reminder to any wannabe Dom's of what true domination is).
It's really refreshing to find a thread full of all these wonderful things.
Very much "like"![]()

I don't understand the "Doms" that just want to use women to get off and nothing else. I don't understand how they can equate being a Dom as a free pass to be an asshole, abusive, cruel, uncaring, mean, disrespectful, and generally not give a fuck about the sub.
Women are to be respected. I have MORE respect for a woman because she is a sub or slave, not less. To know the depths she will go just to please her Dom, make them happy, fulfill their desires, wants, needs, and more amazes me.
I know I could never do that. I also know I would never take that for granted. That is something so special and once you find a sub who is willing to do that for you then you better do your damnedest to keep her.
That's why I treasure my sub when I have one. I mean it when I say my happiest comes from her being happy. Dom or not I have no problem going out of my way to make her happy, comfortable, feel loved, cared for, protected, looked after, and more. I don't believe just because I am the Dom my feelings or happiness are any more important than my sub's.
Respect is a two way street. A Dom can not demand respect from a sub and then show none in return. Respect is earned over time and not a given just because someone calls themself a "Dom."
Hope you're having a good day and have a lovely harem of subs to cater to you

Harem of subs? Sadly, no.![]()

Here's hoping that you will have enough for a harem soon![]()
