Now I'm going to sound like 'Queen Bitch' here, and yes it is way out of character for me but I'm so far over my limit in the last week that I have no self control.
First of all, WHAT is with people here? This is the 'How To' board, usually a place for some decorum but not lately, in my opinion. So many little digs appear all over the threads here. Yes, I can see there have been friendships made and that is wonderful, it helps to build a community. But could we raise the bar here please?
I don't see any benefit of all the nasty comments. Very easily many ideas and opinions could have been stated in a far more appealing manner - on all sides of what this thread was at some point. My first reaction was this is GB behavior, but this doesn't even rate that high. The GB has it's share of nasty and unkind postings but this forum very rarely had that behavior. What has happened?
If you disagree, state it. What is to be gained by slinging names, accusations and unpleasantness? Nothing. How about we try to remember this is an adult site - all of us? This is also a world wide site and many people have different styles of writing, speaking, maybe even differences in definition of some words/slang etc.
I agree that the original poster's use of the phrase a pretty slutty girl jumped out at me too. I was going to ask the question that has already been asked - why is the woman (not girl) slutty because of her behavior - reminding the poster that she is doing so WITH YOU - why is she labeled?
I'm not smacking the poster in the face, I'm asking a question. I know I'm sort of reminising about 'the good old days' of the HT, but there has been a change - some really nice ones, more people have come to interact and share, that's fantastic. I just hope we can remember that we are all different, we bring different experiences and skills, but all have something to offer.
So many times people say 'this is a porn board', well you know what - it is FAR more then that. That phrase is my 'send me over the falls' phrase, like Elian's 'I have to respond to all threads about size'. We all have buttons that are going to get pushed, but that doesn't mean the reaction needs to be a push back.
Hang ten, know that if, no WHEN there is another 'does size matter' thread, Elian will take care of that for us. We know there will be one.... in fact we might be due soon - Elian, be on watch please.
I know I've said too much (as usual) but can't we just try to be a little less nasty. It doesn't matter if you new or old or in between (another hot button issue for me), let's just share our honest thoughts and maybe we'll learn more.
There is a good phrase that might be of interest. Say what you mean, mean what you say, don't be mean when you say it.

Men call women sluts if the women have more sex than they do. Men like women they call sluts if they get to fuck them.
