I'm looking at credit options right now, and nerdwallet had a good article on secured cards. I signed up for one card with a small deposit and $200 limit, and then I'm going to get this Chime secured card, because it uses your own money that you put in, like a debit card, but it still reports it like a credit card if I understand this right. Otherwise, I guess using like...more than 30 percent on your cards can give you bad credit? Even if you pay on time? Seems a lite dumb, but eh.

I know, I don't really like the credit system either, but one of my family (who is also pretty smart with money), told me, you basically gotta play the game to your advantage XD

But I mean, it does offer some perks. As long as you have a consistent job, he said if I get my credit score well enough, I'll basically be approved for any loan I want, and have very low payments. Not that I want a bunch of loans, but it would be nice to not have to worry about not having a vehicle if I need one.
