Well, then I'm right at home then lol.

And to answer your question. It's not that rolling part, it's more of the "I make a very detailed Biker RP Post, and it only gets left on read or the thread left for dead" thing. Also had a partner who didn't want me to post a closed thread to them but rather than be done in a Private Messaging thread, which is a Photographer/Model one which I don't see going anywhere either. I want to play the badass but my partners or whoever I work with want more of the soap opera character or some shit. Where do I draw a line?

Sure you may dig a bit, I don't mind. No, from by the point of soap opera shit (someone said it in a chatroom when I mentioned male teacher/female student fantasies(also a huge turn off for me.)) It's a fifty fifty when it comes to emotional stuff, like romance and eroticism are a-okay with me.

Pretty much so, or I go for their main character then they go for an alternate character in their post and I'm a bit saddened by that since it's the 'ugly, flat chested girl' lol. I mean I'll do the overplayed and cliche once in a blue moon but there's a line I need to draw lol.

If you'll pardon me butting in here to offer some unsolicited advice...

You've been joined for a while, but you only have ~50 posts here and so you're going to be kind of an unknown quantity to people. Posting a thread like you did and just saying "open to all females" might get someone to join in, but you're far more likely to have it just drop down the page and out of sight.

Also, having "mainly females for 'fun stuff'" in your title is going to make it sound like you're just looking to have a quick wank with someone. That's just my impression when I read something like that, anyway.

As for the unsolicited advice part, check the seeking writer's thread here and the SRP profiles thread in The Lounge, and see if there's someone you'd like to write with. Try to start a thread with just one person, just to get your feet wet here, make yourself a little more of a known quantity, and then you might have a little more success with something bigger and more open like you're trying to do with the biker thing. You could even start that idea, but just with one person and expand it later. I think that's going to be your best bet to find someone that will reply consistently and keep things going in a thread with you.

Also, try not to hurry things to PM with someone. It's another thing that gives the impression that you're just here to get off with someone and then drop the thread, which doesn't seem to be what you want, and so you want to avoid things that will give that impression.

Shoot someone a message that you'd like to write with, be respectful, accept that they may say no and be gracious if they do. You'll find someone eventually that will want to write with you, it just takes some patience sometimes. When I first started here it took me a good long while to kind of "break through," but it happened eventually. Now I'm just an old ghost that haunts the place occasionally.

Hm hm, may I suggest writing a detailed post on the "Seeking Writers and Inspiration" sticky at the top of the home page?

I would give as much detail as to the type of rp that you are seeking, the type of character you want to play and what role you want them to star, what you do, (and importantly), do not want to happen in your rp, and a standard of writing that you would like to see. Like, maybe, "doesn't have to be novel level, but needs to put some effort into their posts and not just a few sentences"

Also important to indicate if you want it to only be done on the forum, or if you don't mind private chat.

Hope this helps, and feel free to stick around and chat in here! Most of us don't bite, but we have been known for:

-Writing short horror Garfield porn posts

Do you get asked to write a teacher often? I feel like this is the third time I've seen you mention this, but like... that's fine. I don't think anyone is going to try to force you to write a teacher/student thing.

As for your title, I think your chances of running into a guy in your thread looking to start a sudden M/M thing with you are vanishingly small; besides, I'm pretty sure you have an SRP profile that people can check out and see that your orientation is hetero. Just a simple (Open to all) at the end of your thread title will suffice, much like is in the title of this very thread.



Also, I'll give you one other tip from someone that's been here way too long (2003?! good Christ I'm old): the vast majority of threads you start are going to die without seeing the end of the story. Life gets in the way, inspiration runs out, the momentum of the thread dies... any number of things can happen, and some of them almost always will. If you're the "thread killer," then I've committed thread genocide. Have fun while it lasts, but don't take it too hard if things die out. I've had some ideas that I absolutely loved that were just never finished. Unfortunately, that's how it goes a lot of the time.
