Fuck if I know… Maybe they think we’re just being difficult because it has a workaround (two posts), and they don’t want to waste time changing it.

Even the workaround is patchwork at best. There are undoubtedly threads that were active before and after the switch with posts that long, and I'd bet trying to edit any of those posts would not work, since the edit would be over the limit, but given that there are likely other posts following it you can't simply break it into multiple posts.

Mostly though, I just don't understand why people think no one else should want to post more characters than they're interested in reading.

I think it would be fine for him to stay the same as far as looks go, but adding some thickness and length might be a good angle to go for.

I think generally we just want him to be bigger and stronger.
