After much frustration and pleading with myself, I got it started. I finally realized I was doing an old habit of trying to force myself (which notoriously does not work and just makes me really tired), so I stopped and made a cup of really sweet coffee and exercised. Treating the ADHD so to speak, and looky that, that worked way better than trying to be 'normal' ">_> I should probably start putting up post it notes everywhere just have really big text saying, "TREAT THE ADHD FIRST"

*rubs face* now I'll probably be up pretty late into the day but that's alright. Self quarantining cause I got exposed to covid again, so it's not like I'm going anywhere tonight.

Yeah, that sounds about right. Taking a step away and taking care of yourself is a good way to get the brain flowing again. Mmm… coffee. I myself am enjoying some of the bean juice.

Postas~

I've been playing around with different ways to make it. My friend showed me a really good stove top espresso maker which was not very expensive, and uses some spices like ginger, tarragon and cumin or cayenne. Along with some other stuff like brown sugar or cocoa if you want something more like a hot chocolate. It's super yummy~

I've only had covid once but a resident that I have to work with has had it and I didn't know because they relaxed the rules and we don't have to mask up anymore if we don't want to, and I guess it's being treating more like the flue now. I only found out he had covid on thursday...when he's apparently had it since last monday. I have no clue if I'll get it again or not, but not only do I not want to spread it around the work place, I'm visiting with immuno compromised people that getting them sick could seriously risk putting them in the hospital, so I'm just being especially cautious and waiting for the incubation period to be over before I test. I'm actually going to test tonight, but still going to wait and test again later because of how long it can take to show positive on a test. If if would just be like a head cold for my sister and friend it wouldn't be so bad, but they both have stuff going on right now that it could cause some very long term damage, or god forbid, kill them.

Sucks but it's just whats gotta be done. That...might be why I was struggling too. I'm lowkey kinda sad because I don't get to see anyone this week, and I'm still struggling to get myself out of a bad/moody mindset.

Interesting. I do love a good hot chocolate, and I've found that coffee flavor takes a plain Jane cocoa to the next level. I feel like there are recipes out there that tell you to put coffee in brownies and shit for that very reason.

I'm sorry, Drobabes. :/ I know it really sucks to be cooped up at home. Work isn't exactly the most thrilling thing to do, but at least it gets one out of the house and interacting with other people. At home you just get to twiddle your thumbs until one of them ends up in your butt or worse. All I can say is that it's only temporary, and you gotta make the best of what you've got. Perhaps a nice epsom salt bath or a relaxing dinner is in order to cheer yourself up.


As I was writing my post, I just got this image of the butler hovering over Quint's pasta dish, grinding shreds of parmesan over his noodles, expecting Quint to say when enough is enough and Quint just not responding. Like keeping direct eye-contact with Angelique as the butler becomes more and more concerned about the sheer mountain of cheese piling up.
