Embarrassing Movies

The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
Kentucky Fried Movie
Top Secret!

And I *adore* The South Park Movie, but I am not in the least embarassed about it. It's a truly amazing satire of American life and politics. And as SSS said, a really good musical. The medly at the end of Act I is stunning.

Now I just need to find my own copy!

Kentucky Fried Movie!!! I'd forgotten all about that one!

"Brown 25" and the "Cramp TV Kitchen"...OMG, how could I have forgotten those!

Thanks!

I can only agree with all of you about 'South Park - Bigger, Longer & Uncut'. It's was truly a great movie and a huge surprise for me.
I like South Park very much but I thought the movie could easily suck. But it tunred out to be a great film.
And I adore the music in it. The guys really seem to know about music a bit. :)
Makes me think of another 'embarassing' movie by them called 'BASEketball'. That one was stupid and cheap in a way but entertaining. Especially the 'Psyche-out' idea.

I was wracking my brain because I see WAY too many films, and Coneheads was the first thing that came to my mind, but then looking thru Video's and DVD's my shame struck me.

I'm not certain if it's more embarrassing than Xanadu, but it does come relatively close.

Paul Verhoeven, director of some of my favorite films, The Fourth Man, Basic Instinct and Total Recall made a film called 'Showgirls' which in a closeted way, I enjoyed, but I'm pretty sure it was for the gay factor. . .ya that's it :D

At least I have an excuse ;)

I've got Attack Of The Killer Tomatoes and the sequel which is even funnier called RETURN OF THE KILLER TOMATOES

Oh the best song in South Park is definatly 'La Resistance' by the way.

I don't know it if has been mentioned already, but I giggled to Beavis and Butthead Do America.

I also remeber renting Crossroads and Glitter for laugs with some friends, and I found myself thinking "Hey, this didn't suck as bad as I thought it would."

I haven't seen 'Glitter' or 'Crossroads' but have seen Beavis And Butthead Do America (got it on vid too) and also thoguht it was really funny

'Beavis and Butt-head do America' and 'Southpark' were hilarious, but I wouldn't call it embarrassing to like them. You'd have to be a retard not to have liked those movie. :D

We're walking into the realm of embarrassing - less so since the Oscar, but still pretty embarrassing - when you admit, as I do, that you have been a big Peter Jackson fan long before LOTR. And I'm not talking about 'Heavenly Creatures' either. I'm talking about masterpieces of incredibly bad gore like 'Bad Taste' and 'Braindead', and even 'Meet the Feebles'. Top that, if you can.

Oh, and I also liked Showgirls. :p

Luckily we missed the Teletubbies - kids weren't at the "proper" age at the time to be interested - thank you God!
The Teletubbies are Evil.

I can't top them but I love them!!! 'Braindead' is my second fave movie ever (after Tremors) and as well as owning that on vid I've also got 'Badtaste' but unfortunatly never seen Meet the Feebles' is it good?

Mortal Kombat I and II

So utterly weird that it becomes charming.

i'm with you on that. I had seen 'Braindead' and 'Meet The Feebles' before I heard Peter Jackson was to make LOTR. I couldn't believe my ears.
But Braindead is great, though I even prefer Meet The Feebles.
Great minimum-money-maximum-fun-movies
So, I'm with you on this.

Snoopy, :)

'Meet the Feebles' is sort of like 'The Muppets Show', but wittier and filled with (puppet) sex and random acts of gruesome violence. A great piece of family entertainment. :D

Puppets having sex and gruesome violence sounds like my perfect movie :D

I'm embarrassed to admit I actually paid for tickets to 'Wild Wild West' and 'Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever' but how would I be able to tell without seeing them first?

I didn't pay to see 'Titanic', though. Hope that balances things out. :)

I payed to watch Wild Wild West too then bought it on video when it came out.

Not if you cried ;)

Embarrasing movies ... huh ...

I dig those teenage romance flicks alot, saw about everyone I could get a hold of, such as "Get over it", "Bring it on", "Summer Catch" and what not. "A Walk to remember" would fall also in this category.

I have seen most of the Bud Spencer / Terence Hill movies ... some of them dozens of times :D.

Maybe not embarrassing, but pretty funny ... "Dumb and Dumber" ... one of Jim Carreys best films.

What about Judge Dredd I have and like that too!!!
Judge Dredd was fun. In the same vein, all the sub par The Crow sequels. And Tank Girl.

To all those movies' advantage are their really kicking soundtracks.
