Well, that depends on my age.
As a small child, I wanted to be "a scientist." I had no idea what that really meant, but that's what I wanted to do.
When I was in my teens, I had changed to Lawyer. Luckily, I dodged that bullet.

Today, I have a great job that in some ways is kind of what I wanted to be when I was a child (although very different in actuality).

Now, what I want to be is a sailing instructor or to race sailboats professionally.

I love animals. I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was little. Then realized that putting pets down was part of it. I still volunteer at the shelter. But that's as far as I go.

I wanted to be Wonder Woman. Later, I wanted to be a teacher. Then I wanted to be pilot. In the end, I really wanted to be a stay at home mom. I am none of the above, but I ended up where I need to be and I'm happy with my job.

I don't believe that I've grown up yet.

While I was a child, I always wanted to be a heroic scientist. Heroic scientists were cool. I could save the world and be back in time for breakfast.

What on earth - how did I miss three whole days' worth of stuff on here???

Just touching on yesterday's question - I honestly can't think of anything unusual about me. I'm about as average as they come. I get 8 hours of sleep, eat a balanced diet, though with way too many sweets and carbs, love dogs, imbibe occasionally, etc etc etc. Maybe that I've never used any kind of non-prescription drugs - I suppose that's unusual. I like to see life without artificial alteration.

Just for fun, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I could quote beachbaby here, almost word for word. Except I can't even handle working at a shelter - I'd either take every animal home or spend all my time there crying over the ones who couldn't find homes. So I just donate. Now in what I consider my third life chapter, I'd love to be an interior designer. Actually, I think I wanted that when I was little, too - I remember taking a magazine my mother had and drawing house plans based around the different rooms in the pictures there.

I guess this will sound unimaginative, but I wanted to be married with children and hopefully be a secretary.

If I think back I can still remember the following, but it wasn't a dream! When I was little I settled down to sleep, I played out in my head so much that I could see me in one corner teaching children along the other wall. The room was very long and as I was already in bed I saw lots of beds along the wall. I remember telling them to get on with their work but don't remember what it was.

Six weeks into the coursework I realized I was not such a big fan of squares. Right angles. "Division of space" ... couldnt wrap my brain around any of it. Too technical.

One of those people who drove a crane with a big concrete ball on the end of a chain and then later, when i realised what it entailed, the person who set explosive charges to take down huge chimneys or buildings without touching the buildings around them...but my dad told me only boys could do that...

There was a time when I wanted to be an auto mechanic. My dad said that was "man's work.".

I always sleep naked, always. I think I have done that since first sleeping with a partner. There's just something so wonderful about sleeping skin-to-skin. If there's sex first, I'll often put something on for the sex part, for titillation purposes...
