i'd advise to write in whatever style you're comfy with. i use the s instead of z in words like criticise; i spell it centre and not center ... because I'M ENGLISH!

Aah I like being a Geordie. Whenever I'm on holiday it seems really easy to get talking to people because they get intruiged by where I'm from. I suppose it's not as well known abroad as some of the other accents from around the country.

I went to see Eddie Izzard live once and he was complaining about how impossible he found the accent to mimmick so he just said 'like' at the end of every sentence if he needed to do an impression.

I started to get interested in Geordie accents from Phillip Middlemass when he was on Corrie and then seeing Jimmy Nail in Crocodlile Shoes and Spender on Canadian TV.
