Eroticism

You can travel the cosmos through the landscape of a woman’s architecture. The planets, the constellations of desire, the interplanetary synapses of total oblivion, the mesmerising dunes, forged by desire and longing. It is the same joy one finds in walking through the rooms of a beautiful house, where light and shadow mingle with the lives lived in those rooms. So, let’s take this journey in silence, hand in hand

Truly a beautiful image! Your text positing that the image represents Power and Need maybe true. It's analogous to the Yin and the Yang, where both parts constitute "the whole." I like to think that's true here ... and that, too, offers insight to ponder.

Thank you for this contribution.

So many religions have revolved around women as sacred centre. And yet, the sacred is held to higher standards. Lilith was banished, consigned to history as keeper of the dark side of the moon. Joan of Arc must have been a witch, for how could a 15 year old have the courage of a thousand men? How could a woman hope to conceive a blessed child if she did not adopt the missionary position - after all, only if she casts her eyes upon god above could she conceive, making the missionary position the go to position for all good wives.
Yet the truth of the matter is she is a constellation on her own. A self-enclosed entity, secretive integument. The sacred is the women, and the sacred is terror. We are forever caught in this interminable liminality
