Even More Random Thoughts

Cats have indicators of being content and/or happy. Purring loudly is one, of course. But their tail standing straight up (flag raised) is another. The 5 month old kitten has taken to following me into the restroom when i sit down. She enters and hears me say hello to her and I see her tail raise and her start purring immediately. When she leaves I can visibly see her tail droop back to normal. Makes me smile whenever I notice it...

I'm going to treat myself on my birthday. For the first time in forever, there's supposed to be clear skies and warm temps- I'm going for a solo hike. Fuck waiting around for any one else to feel like going.
