I didn't answer the door naked, i flashed the solar energy guy inadvertently.

I forgot I had an appointment for someone to talk to me about solar power. I had a hell of a headache and took something on the stronger side, dressed for bed, and went to sleep.

When the doorbell was ringing, and the person was knocking on the door, i threw on my robe to go out to answer. My robe doesn't have a belt, so I usually just hold it closed. It's not really a big thing. i live alone.

I get to the door, and I open it. He is standing there talking to me when I explain why I didn't answer.

I opened the storm door and reached for the business card he was handing me. Without giving it a second thought, when I reached for the card, the entire bathroom, robe was open.

When I said I dressed for bed, i really meant I got naked for bed. With one hand holding the door, and the other one, reaching for the business card, i realized his eyes swept down to the ground and back up to just below my face. Nothing I could do about it then.

I took the card and thank him.

Not quite. My husband and I got up one morning to find the the water heater that the previous owner of the house had installed without a plumbing permit had burst at the intake and had flooded the downstairs and was continuing to flood the house because their was no shutoff valve. I was dressed in a shorty see through nighty and ran outside without grabbing a robe to turn off the outside main valve at the street.
