Boston won the day game to extend their streak to 15 in a row, tieing a franchise record. They lost the night game to end the streak. I heard a few complaints about Rivera being the starting pitcher when Bello was in the bullpen. Not upset they lost as they won the series.

Looking back at the Oakland A’s 20 consecutive wins in 2002 and the Cleveland Indians winning 22 in a row in 2017. Streaks are fun but they don’t mean all that much as neither one of those teams reached their ultimate goal of winning the World Series.

Just looking forward to the next game and the rest of the season.
