Existing Threads That Needs Players - 2011

I'm looking for a literate female Jane Austen fan or two for Mansfield High, an update on Mansfield Park set in an exclusive American private school, during the characters' final year.


Matthew is a bright and popular student. Because of his looks, charm and place on the honours list, he is regarded as school aristocracy -but despite this, he is kind and considerate towards everyone, and is well-liked by both students and staff. He is involved in a dozen extra-curricular activities and athletics


Annie is a deeply shy, brilliant student who won a scholarship to Mansfield High when she was twelve. Because she comes from a much poorer family than the other students, she was bullied and ostracized. Matthew intervened to befriend her -his protection ensuring an immediate cease to all the teasing and bullying of poor Annie. The two became close friends and Annie soon developed a huge crush on Matthew, as he continued to help her negotatiate the social currents of Mansfield High -a crush he is at present oblivious to.


Alice is a new arrival, in the senior year of Mansfield High. She's a rebel, with a tomboyish, alternative attitude and Matthew finds himself immediately attracted to her. She feels likewise towards him, but half-fears that going out with one of the most popular kids in the school would be 'selling out' to the mainstream.


That's just the very broad outline -PM me if you have any interest in playing either or both these young ladies (very loosely based on Fanny Price and Mary Crawford, if you do happen to be familiar with the novel).

I know that it is often difficult to take over a writers part on a story. However this story had lots of potential and seemed to be headed in a very fun direction.
I had just gotten started on this story when my partner just up and disappeared. Never heard a word from her. It had the potential of being a very interesting story. This story was about a male student (me) that has been asked to accompany a female professor on a summer research trip to a nearly deserted island in Hawaii. The story left off when they were just getting to their quarters for the summer. I am looking for a female to play the part of the professor. If interested please read the story to where it is and send me a PM to let me know that you would like to pick it up and go with it. If you would like to start over that would be fine with me also. This will be my last attempt to restart this story. I am in hopes that there is an articulate female out there that would be interested in this story.

Sean was your typical high school senior, looking forward to college and all the fun that went along with it...Mainly, sex, drugs and booze. And like most high school seniors, Sean wanted to get things off to an early start during the summer...So after an all night kegger at a friends house, Sean hopped in his car and headed home. That is, until the day Sean was offered a job. A chance to go back into the real world. Sure, it came along with a crappy boss and a probationary period, but he would have done anything to get out of that room with all the yodeling clowns in it...

And now, just a short 15 years after death, Sean is back planet-side, in the new business of corrupting others...Hell it beat flipping burgers...

((Ok....So the plan here is a two person thread, both playing multiple characters. Sean is an incubus, but he's completely inept. Has no concept of how to be a demon and corrupt the souls of others. Enter, his chaperone, (insert name). It's her job, as a veteran Succubus, to show Sean the ropes. Essentially the dynamic is dumb newbie paired with veteran evil mistress. The goal is for a ton of sex with a liberal sprinkling of dark humor. PM if interested...But seriously...How could you not be?))
 
Alright got a bit of an idea. Wanting to start a thread about a guy who as sunk a lot of his hard earned cash into a lifes dream. That dream being to live in a home modeled to be like Ancient Rome. He is now retired and living there permenantly, though its not the "back breaking hard work" of old rome. Indoor plumbing, real mattresses on the beds, modern wine (who would want the original stuff they drank yuck), modern kitchen wth marble tops.

There would be need for servers male and female, guesses who are visiting, or who have decided to rent time like a vacation there. The dress is required to be togas and such.
