Face or Figure?

When I was single, I used to go to strip joints and watch the women dance. I always went for the women with gorgeous faces and a lot of curves. In particular, I loved the ones with nice, full bottoms. Also, full-swung breasts were a major turn-on. But, bottom line: I always went for the facially beautiful ones most of all.

In 'real life,' I just love women. The face is still the key though. The body is secondary, but a nice bottom is always what gets to me. Mmmmm. Mmmmm. Mmmmm.

Without a pretty face, I've found I really don't care what they look like elsewhere. But once the issue of a pretty face has been taken care of, I'm keen on Pre-Raphaelite women with strong thighs, medium-to-large breasts, and unshaven pussy.

And, somewhat to my surprise, no blondes. :) When I was building an online dating profile some years ago, I was describing my preferences to a friend and I found myself saying "And no blondes--I don't trust 'em!" We both looked at my mouth and I said "Where the hell did that come from?" But, interestingly, it's true: blondes just don't do it for me.

Examples of beautiful faces:

  • Kathleen Turner (then and now)
  • Diane Lane
  • Diana Rigg
  • Judi Dench (in the 1968 "Midsummer Night's Dream," when her costume was a pint of green paint and maybe half a square foot of leaves or now, 30 years later, when I saw her on the London stage, or today, 40 years later in the Bond films--she's one hot woman!)
  • Sandra Bullock (I've a former lover who's almost a dead ringer for Sandra Bullock--yes, she's a wonderful and highly energetic experience)
  • Felicity Kendall (BBC actress of "Good Neighbors" fame; I've seen her on the stage, too, and it was well worth it!)
  • Candida Royalle
  • Marilyn Chambers (now more than then, but I'd still let her bring crackers to bed either way)
  • Erica Boyer (a lover from years ago looked very much like her, but redheaded)

As I was making the list, I was thinking about body types and so on, and then I found myself thinking that it really didn't matter too much: it was the faces that I was most attracted to. The bodies do tend towards a certain well-padded look, but all of them have gorgeous, strong faces.

I had the body, not any longer (trying to get it back though), but I still got a pretty face. Face counts more to me. It's the face I will be looking at 90% of the time with the person in question, therefore a nice face matters more to me.

*First, let me say...*curtsey... Thank you for the thread "Lesbiaphrodite." I am enjoying reading the responses. The topic is interesting (and fairly emotive...*lol) and one that, eventually, faces all of us. (however much we may may try to put off it's imminence) Being close to that age (*blushes, looking away softly, pressing backs on long fingers along my jaw line and warming cheeks...) I still find myself unable to choose.
( i want both(!), damnit...LOL)...but I am leaning toward face...
( i got curves...salacious ones...and they dont seem to want to buge or give in... LOL)

I am seriously glad you got curves, kiddo.

Let's see: of the list, the one that does it best for me is Salma Hayek with a thought to Sophia Loren. But there's something about the way most of them on the list (had to look up Adrianna Lima) look that's too... angular? They're all certainly scrumptious and probably very 'alive' in person, but they don't quite do it for me.

My question is to both ladies and gents: Which is it: Face or figure? What attracts you most: a hot body or a gorgeous face? If someone doesn't have both, is it a deal-breaker?

I would go with the face..*it's too hard to control the bod at this age..lol my husband says I'm more beautiful now than I was when he married me(19).. I've had a few people say the same thing to me.. so, I guess turning 40 isn't all that bad and I'm not as old as dirt after all..

And I'm with you on the wine..

As for attractive in my eyes.. it's the face first, his eyes, the wit/intelligence, the way he carries himself w/confidence, his caring/kindness toward others *especially me

Yes, it certainly is!

And Salvor Hardon's is outstanding, too.

I don't think this is true at all, unless choosing figure means that you overdo working out and dieting to the extent that your face pays the price by being thin and gaunt.

Really, if this were true, then how would the French explain Catherine Deneuve?
