Facts About The US Media

The Liberal Media:Every Poll Shows Journalists Are More Liberal than the American Public — And the Public Knows It

Because I enjoy investigating different points of view, press bias is not an issue for me. I assume that journalists have values and concerns that effect the way they see and report the news. Nevertheless, I demand press honesty. When a newspaper, opinion journal, or broadcasting station of the mainstream media makes a factual assertion that is not true, it is a legitimate mistake. Organs of the presumably "liberal media" report retractions when they err about what is true and what is not true.

This cannot be said about FOX News. It could not be said about Rush Limbaugh. The lies of Limbaugh were documented as early as 1994.

No bitch! Pick a topic until we agree on the topic then we debate. I made that as simple to understand as possible. I can't agree to debate you on a topic until I know what it is. You might pick a topic like, should we ban plastic bags or guns?

dudly, the topic already is whether you understand that you don't get to choose to debate with someone while debating with someone. Once you open your mouth, it's on.

Or did you miss that part?

That's what I expected, you chose to obfuscate rather than debate.

It's not like I didn't say it right out front. That you failed to understand it is why you think you can control and limit the debate topic to only those things you want to talk about even though you're on an internet forum.

Basically, if you don't like the conversation you're more than welcome to STFU and leave. No one will miss you.

You stupid shit. You challenged me to a debate. I offered to let you pick the topic. Gawd you're dumb?

I think this is the key right here. It is all about responsible journalism. If you are biased, admit your bias, or label your piece as an "opinion" piece rather than a news byte.

And if you report on something that is factually incorrect, then own up to it and admit it. Don't keep repeating the "factually incorrect" statement as if it was correct. Because, by concrete dictionary definition, that is called "Lying."

And it is exactly why I have little use for Fox News, or any of the more extreme propaganda (Breitbart, OAN, Newsmax, etc.) masquerading as "news."

You stupid shit. You challenged me to a debate. I offered to let you pick the topic. Gawd you're dumb?

Actually, what you didn't realize is that we currently ARE debating. Now you've not only lost the debate but you're in process of losing your temper just because you're not getting what you want.

Which is a debate on a topic you desire, on your terms, with you as the deciding moderator.

Gee, can anyone else see why you're not getting that? Especially since this place isn't known for doing any of that for anyone?

And you ask if I'm the dumb one...

Unless that was the debate you wanted to have so badly. If so, for all your self proclaimed debate skilz you didn't seem very prepared or competent at it.

You seem upset.

In your head, Zombie. Several times during this alleged debate you've made reference to what other politics board posters think. Clearly, everything you post is with the intent of having a positive reaction from people of your ilk and a negative reaction from those with who you disagree. If you really paid attention to me, you'd be aware that I talk with one person at a time and never play to the peanut gallery. I'm not a joiner. I never pledged a fraternity or joined any secret societies.

You've become boring to the point of being intolerable. I'm not going to waste any more energy on you. You will now have the opportunity to get the last word and claim that you won a debate with me and I ran away from you crying.

I don't recommend suicide to everyone but in your case, I believe that you should give it serious consideration.

Where were you during the Trump is a Russian agent bullshit that went on for years in your media?

Exactly who ever said Trump was "a Russian agent"? The issue was whether or not he cooperated with the Russian meddling in the election (the existence of which is not in dispute).

Oh you poor thing. Did some meany on the internet hurt your widdle feelers again?

Suggestion: If you're going to offer to debate someone, it's probably better if you don't engage in overt Ad Hom before you go all Laissez Faire in making the offer. Doing that tends to make some people doubt your sincerity as well as your debate capabilities. Not that I was ever in doubt about your lack of sincerity or incapability.

Suggestion 2: If you really want to debate someone, all you really need to do is figure out how to make a thread on a subject you want to talk about instead of creeping into other people's threads and sniping from the cheap seats. But you do you and I'll keep enjoying watching you try to make a man out of yourself by acting like a cowardly little asshole.

The FBI, the NYTs, Eric Swalwell:

"The FBI launched an investigation into whether Donald Trump had been working on behalf of Russia against American interests – and Trump went to extraordinary lengths to conceal from his own administration the details of his conversations with Russian president Vladimir Putin, according to two bombshell reports."
"The New York Times reported on Friday that law enforcement officials were so concerned about Trump’s behavior after he fired James Comey as FBI director that they launched a counterintelligence investigation into whether he was acting as a Russian agent, either intentionally or unwittingly."

The FBI, the NYTs, Eric Swalwell:

I keep asking myself if the people who post crap like he did are that unaware of current events, or are they just stupid and think that everyone else is too?

Currently my money is on both possibilities simultaneously.

I was going to mention that many on the left here repeated that nonsense as well but didn't want to search posts to prove it. I'm a little busy today.;)

"Either intentionally or unwittingly" is rather different from what was claimed. But we already knew you don't even read your own cites.
