...why do those same advisors/committees/whatever overlook the even more serious problem of something like breast implants? If it takes only a handful of people taking Viagra to cause a stir and raise questions, why do over a 1000 women (as DevilishTexan mentioned) have to be hurt by implants before the situation is taken seriously?

I can't believe I'm actually replying to something on this forum. Normally I just read everything and wish I had the nerve to reply. Well, you finally hit the right button. I had breast implants almost 3 years ago and will never regret it. I have always been more round than tall and no boobs. I mean I didn't even fill out an A cup. I had no self confidence what so ever. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it's the truth. Do you know how hard it is to find a 38 A bra. They're just not out there. I just went to a healthy C cup. My husband loves them I love them, there is a little more scarring than I would like, but even they are getting less noticible. As far as being hard and unmovable. Shame on the Dr and the recipient. Mine feel and look just like they did before, only larger. The nipple sensation went down quite a bit, but I bought some niplettes and they are bringing them back to where they were. I wouldn't want to go back for nothing. I'm a 48 year old with 18 year old tits. I don't show 'em off, but for a little to please Mr. B.

Guys... Whatever floats your boat or sinks your ship as the case may be. I'm just a natural B cup but I am plenty happy with what I've got. No way have I ever really seriously entertained enhancement, but to those who need it, want it, have to have it (or breast reduction for that matter), go for it and more power to you. You know what is best for you. Do what you need to do to to make you feel good about yourself within the realm of good health practices.

And there seem to be plenty of guys who want women with breasts that are large or small or somewhere inbetween.

I saw a very informal poll on another site recently. Of 400 respondents to the question of what size breasts they preferred, the answers were as follows:

Small... 150
Medium... 202
Big... 48

As I said this was a very informal poll and I can only assume that most respondents were male. If you are interested, the site is called thefirsttime.com

All the first time stories are supposedly true, but many of them are obviously not. A nice place to visit for an occasional diversion though, I suppose

well personally i think there are a lot of hypocrites here saying "fake ones are just nasty." it depends on the surgeon, some really don't look fake. i've grown up in a very open household, and my 2 sisters both have large boobs, while my mother has implants - and hers look more real than there's do! i mean, they all have big boobs, you can't tell a difference.
personally, it has been disheartening to read about how much fake boobs are apparently "hated" as i would love to get some someday. i'm not talking about painfull large or disgusting boobs, just a very small c or a full B. i am only an A-cup, and not an overflowing A. i would love to actually have breasts at all - people who complain about having overly large breasts (my family, my best friend) - may not enjoy them being THAT large, but at least you have something you can CALL boobs. something that makes cleavage. i know my hips are curvy, etc, so i like my body shape, ans would not want LARGE boobs like society says, but for my own self-esteem i would loke to have, well boobs. i mean, it's not like i can buy cute bras either, there's not much to put into them, so it doesn't look sexy - and i don't have enought to buy a push up bra do create cleavage either, i figure you need at least a B to do that, cuz it definately doesn't work with my girls.

Nipples before size

Maybe I'm just not your garden variety pervert, but I've always been a huge fan of nipples while being pretty clueless about size. For better or worse, I only just learned what my wife's bra size is (B) after almost 10 years of marriage, and even then only because we were out shopping together and the saleslady said "We don't have that in B, would you like me to call the other store?". That should just about tell you how often I buy bras for my wife, but I do have a defense. Early on she told me "Let me do the bra shopping. There's nothing worse than a bra that doesn't fit right -- even if it looks good".

So, about those nipples. I don't usually find myself ogling large breasts when I'm out and about, but if there's a hint of nipple then I'm all eyes. My absolute favorite is tight sweaters with a hint of nipple outlined. Of course more than a hint is a very good thing, but I have a very active imagination and I can make due with an outline. Mmm. I suppose 'presentation' comes in a close second. If there's no nipple showing, then something that shows off the curve of the breast is always appreciated. IMHO a well designed wardrobe that accentuates the breast (and nipples, mind you) would be a much better investment than a boob job, and probably cheaper too.

But back to nipples. My wife's nipples naturally point downwards when she's standing, but on her back (or on all 4's ;-) they are truley a sight to behold. They have a delicious coffee color, silver dollar shape, and they are marvelously responsive (and they look good in a sweater ;-). She's very happy with her breasts, but at times has said that she wouldn't mind a little nip/tuck to make her nipples more perky. Maybe I've been a little too obvious in my appreciation of a good nipple, or maybe it's just that she only looks in the mirror when she's standing up. Either way, feeling her nipples harden and respond to my lips is such a major turn on for me that anything cosmetic that even *might* make them less sensitive is verboten (even if we had the money).

My biggest complaint about fake boobs is that they tend to distort the nipples. Cockeyed nipples on a bad boob job really (really) kill the joy of an illicit peek at a nipple. Nipples should have a natural lay about them. Breasts should have a natural curve to them.

From a visual standpoint, I don't think a fake boob is any better or worse than a real one. If it looks visually appealing (and this is HIGHLY subjective!)- it's just that, good eye candy. To touch on the other hand, I think I'd prefer the natural bounce of a real boob.

But then again a woman's breast is just such a small part of her allure. There's so much more to them!

As to whether a woman wants the augmentation, it's their choice. Far be it for me to make a judgment on THEIR choices for their bodies.

As a woman who has been cursed (or blessed depending on my mood and the situation!!) with pretty large breasts I've never understood why anyone would want to make theirs bigger, ever!!! Heck, if someone wants to add a bit to their own bust, I'd freely give them a pound of two of the over- generous tit flesh I have to carry around everyday...

Of course, when your man loves them more than you do, and you can find so many here that appreciate the 'larger bust' it's hard to hate them all the time..

I may be talking for the minority here but what's the deal with fake boobs?

I was at a bachelor party and they strippers did headstands and you could see the dimples in the bags in their tits and it was disgusting.....Got a lapdance later and nothing was stirring after that sight.....maybe its just me but a nice natural girl and nothing larger than a C cup for me.

ok.. im probably totally alone here.. but ..I dont see anything wrong with "fake boobs".. ..as long as they are not too big for your body type .....

i know i am small.. i dont even fit most A cup bras.... ... so yes.. one day i will get fake ones... and no they wont be huge.. just a b ..and the onl yreason i am doing it.. i cant find hardly anything that will fit me.. i have a REALLY hard time finding clothes.. bras .. ect.
on top of the fact .. that I want to be just a tad bit bigger...

Before we had children my wife had beautiful B breasts. After breastfeeding three kids, she was less than thrilled with their appearance. They were basically devoid of fatty tissue. While they were fine with me because my wife is one sexy girl, it was her issue and it is her choice. She wants to get implants and a lift. If that what she wants, I'm fine with her choice. It is about her self-image, not mine. Now we are looking for the right surgeon. Because we live in the NY metropolitan area, finding a great surgeon is not difficult.

I hate fake breasts, they are so gross. They never look real unless the person has spent tens of thousands of dollars to get them done, and even then they are still mostly for show while wearing clothing. I pretty much just force myself to like them while watching porn, because it's hard to find enough porn where they are real. Also, I do like shemales and while the best ones are asians who don't have implants, it's hard to expect them not to have them. It's a little arrogant, but I have a poster stating that " I AM the sexual revolution", and so I like a lot of stuff, but implants are not included. (yes, I do take it down when I have family over, hehe, it's a good conversation piece when I'm trying to get into someone's pants, but not anytime else.)

This is all according to my brother, who until he was in college and actually getting laid, always talked about loving big breasts with all of his friends. Basically the way he said it was like this (but less articulately):

'The reason so many men like big breasts is not because big breasts are that great, it's simply because we have spent so many years of our lives never getting to actually see them. The fact is that unless you have big breasts, it really is not possible to show off good cleavage unless the girl is wearing something to make them look huge. While growing up, the only thing we really ever got to see is cleavage, and the only way to show off anything in advertisement is to use the cleavage of women with large breasts. Whenever you heard adults talking about breasts, they always talked about large ones. Whenever an actress in the movies showed her breasts, it only was a big deal if they were large ones. Then on top of that, there was always such insecurity about our sexuality that it was like if you didn't talk about loving huge breasts, you felt like everyone would think you were homosexual. Later in life you finally start going out with real women with real breasts, and you realise that those wonderfully mature adults who always talked about loving real big breasts were almost always just morons who had no tact, so they were the only ones you were able to hear. Like I said, he really didn't say it anywhere exactly like that. Suffice to say he used the terms 'big honkin ones', 'titty meat', and 'queermos', among many other things. I'm proud he's maturing, but he still has a long way to go. I can't believe he actually has dated people longer than I have.

I am probably in the minority but I don't think there is anything wrong with fake boobs if they are for the right reason. I'm quite petite and have considered them many times, and will probably eventually get them done. But I think if you are already a quite decent size they are probably a waste!!

Franken-titties are an abomination. I have yet to see a pair of fake boobs that didn't look horrible in the nude. Case in point, Pam Andersen. Certainly she has to resources to procure the services of the best cosmetic surgeons in the world. Yet, her boobs are lopsided and horribly mutilated.

I think flat-chested women engage in some sort of self-delusion as to how these things really look. Or perhaps they are only concerned with how they look beneath layers of clothing. Naked, they look like, oddly wrinkled, stir-fried shit.

I prefer natural breasts myself. My wife has a gorgeous pair of 36c s. That said, I am not against breast impants. I have known some women to get them because they had "pancakes" for breasts after childbirth. If they feel more sexy after breast impants, then more power to them.
