I have a few pics I would like to use for avatars but I don't have a program that will allow me to resize the images.

Hey PmTick, check this program out, its pretty good and it will allow you to resize to anything you want. It doesn't enlarge things very well, but for shrinking a pic down to avatar size its perfect, because it resamples and sharpens the image automatically.

I've been using it for a couple months, its never caused any problems for me. Its safe, too, no spyware or viral codes in it.

Copyright, just about all these avatars are copyright, as long as you don't claim you created them as in painting or drawing, then I believe its ok!

Resizing, there are many programs that will resize and jpeg, jpg gif and tif all work as long as they are 150 x 150 for an avatar here.

I can resize most, haven't tried animated as yet, will try that soon, but if you need any here resized just PM me which one and I will try to do it.

Who had problems with the saved file as PNG, was that the format?
Looks like your graphic program converts the files to this format by default, you need to change it
You can download that program Blaze put the link to or download acdsee, thats works also and is free

Hehehehe, god I love spring break, so much free time to study (not)! In the off chance someone can't get a hold of Dragonette, or Blaze, or SpectralDragoon, etc... I'd be happy to resize graphics for people too (any excuse to spend more time playing with photo-paint).
