"Yes, Sir," Al'ika said submissively. When he turned his back she grabbed the goblin and the knife and held it to his throat. "NO BODY MOVES OR HE DIES!"She yelled.

Xur gulped a little. "Well played, Slave. Only one problem, you're naked and chained with a little goblin knife against a whole castle." He fidgeted in her stony grasp. "What happens now? We're alone in here and the door are locked."

"I know for a fact your precious Lord Ashglow is out of the castle, and I have inside help," Al'ika said. "So this is what you're going to do. You're going to unchain me, and you're going to keep your underlings at bay. I'm keeping the knife. And you're going to let me leave unscathed. One misstep, and your throat's slit."

Xur slowly handed her the keys. "I see, so you have a plan. I'm guessing whatever it is has something to do with what's behind that tapestry?" he said with a sudden realization.

"Absolutely," Al'ika said. "There a problem with that Xur? I really don't like blood on me, just a girl thing, mind, but also I'm not a huge fan of killing unless I have to." She unlocked herself, still keeping an eye on the goblin. She backed slowly toward the tapestry.

Defenseless, Xur held still as Al'ika reached the wall. Behind the tapestry she found that Keth had outdone himself, leaving her sword, clothes, and armor there. "Well, now, here we are in a room full of all the things I did to you. I don't expect you to have mercy on me, so get it over with."

Al'ika dressed quickly, relishing in the feeling of her clothes and armor and she kissed her sword reverently. "That is very true, but I'm afraid I can't spare the time. But you are coming with me, you're my insurance." She took the bull whip and coiled it up on her hip. "And I don't need these instruments to torture you," She added in a whisper. "Now, tell me where Ashglow keeps the guard captain's family."

Hesitantly, Xur said, "I'll lead the way," and unbarred the door. He let out a small, rhythmic knock that was repeated throughout the dungeon and soon the goblins outside had all gone away. "Tunnel knock," explained Xur. "Our way should be clear."

"Good." Al'ika said. "March. And Xur? If you deceive me, I will kill you without a second thought." She held onto the knife and drew her sword.

"Wouldn't dream of it," he said, eying the blade pressed into him. He led them through unfamiliar corridors until finally he came to a door not unlike Keth's. "They're in here," he said unlocking the door. Two ork children filed out hesitantly and looked terrifired, first of Xur, then of the well armed human. Bek stepped in front of Kat. "You get me first, human!" he yelled.

Al'ika gave a warm smile and said, "Your dad sent me to free you, I will take you to him. I know you have no reason to trust me. Were I to show you your father's mark upon me, would you believe me?" Her tone was soft, and warm, with no trace of sarcasm.

Bek paused a minute. "Orc mark no joke, We go now." He was half Keth's size, but that was still impressive for a teenager. He threw a mighty haymaker, knocking out Xur. Tossing him like a sack of potatoes into the cell and locking it, he said, "Give me knife, me fight with you."

Al'ika smiled at Bek's method for removing Xur and respectfully handed over the goblin knife to the teenager. She smiled reassuringly at Kat and nodded. "Alright. We're getting out of the dungeons and meeting up with your father," she said. She remembered the way out and beckoned the orc children to follow her.

Kat stayed to the rear, looking around terrified at every little noise. Bek watched the rear and would scent out any goblins coming near. They had just made it out of the cell areas and towards Keth's living quarters when shrill, simpering voices rang from the depths. "Slave escape! Slave escape!" It was an echo but still alarming.

Al'ika swore. She subtly tested her magic. It was stronger, probably with Ashglow's presence gone.

"Bek, Kat, listen. I need to do some magic," she explained. "Hold my hand, and trust me."

Each child took her hand hesitantly. Al'ika gave reassuring smiles, before whispering a soft incantation and teleported them into Keth's living quarters.

"Hi," Al'ika said. "We have a problem."

Keth put on his helmet and hugged his children. He armed himself and walked cautiously to the door. A charging orc tried to get in but got impaled oh his blade. "Keth see what you mean,' he said. "We go now or never."

Al'ika nodded. "Stand back for a moment," she asked softly. When he had, she walked over to the door. "Keth, Bek, Kat, cover your ears," she said apologetically. When she was sure they had, she let out a high pitched scream, very different from any scream she's ever emitted. Orcs covered their ears and ran. She looked back. "Shall we go?" she asked.

Keth threw his children a couple of axes. "Let's go. Al'ika take rear." As they rounded the third staircase, a small horde of goblins had appeared. They looked scared but determined not to face Xur's wrath for failure.

Al'ika rolled her eyes. "Xur is in the dungeons, you can find out what cell he's in," she called out. She found a goblin had sneaked it's way back to her and she grabbed it by the throat. "Why don't you and your friends go find your precious leader?" she asked the struggling goblin.

The goblin gasped for air in her grasp. The others backed off slightly and lowered their weapons. A couple ran off, but those remaining groveled for their lives.

Al'ika sneered at the goblins. "Here's what you're going to do. You're going to allow safe passage for me and my companions out of the dungeons. You are not going to raise the alarm, you are going to then find your leader. Understood?" She tossed the goblin in her hand down. She smiled at Keth and his kids.

The goblins bowed before her and ran off to search for Xur. Keth said, "Now down to orcs." A little while later, as they neared the exit, the ravening hordes came screaming from both sides.

"Keth, perhaps you should deal with this?" Al'ika asked. She held her hand and a half loosely, but it was ready.

Keth and Bek battled furiously, taking a few cuts but holding their own. Three charged for Kat and Al'ika. The largest one screamed, "Keth not biggest here now! You mine!"

Al'ika rolled her eyes and impaled the screaming orc. "I am no one's," she said quietly before shoving him off the sword. She smiled at Keth before battling the other two, encouraging Kat to help and teaching her what to do.
