Fantasy Role Playing Thread Coming soon

As far as the caravan goes, I'll roleplay what you find when you get there. I'd been wondering when that group was going to "arrive" at the caravan, but I don't like rushing posts. I know it's annoying to come back to the boardsw and find that everyones been hounding you to put something up.

Once that group arrives, I'll have a little something for you...you notice the group of theives is suspected to have split up. When you arrive, there'll be a few crunchy bit for you to sink your teeth into. But if you're wondering why I hadn't posted anything on the caravan it's because I don't like those megalomaniacal posts where I grab your characters and tell them what they see when they get where they're going.

HAHA.... the diminutive Hasper claims the first enemy death..Long live short people.

yes I was wondering when my (our) little group would be getting into some action ourselves and what my "patrolling" hasper could potentially run into or find without me pushing too into DMing territory..

I love D&D, played 2nd E for about 2 years then starting playing PBEM's online for a while which is why I checked this thread out in the first place.

IRL

I'm a heroic level Parenting class "mom" with the ability to speack "baby" and "toddler" dialects, my racial enemy is "dead beat dads" and I'm always armed with zinc oxide and baby wipes

and i've got "mommy voice" +5 to put people in their place

Oh yeah? Well, I am a lvl. 25 epic College Student who has innate -2 Wis and -4 Int. At the same time, I possess large quantities of +5 Alchoholic beverages which help offset this. My racial enemy is "tests" and my favired weapon is "pencil". However, my rolls are unstable, resulting in many critical misses, but some critical hits as well.

Wyld.. i think im going to have to step out of this orp... im just way too confused as to what we are doing aside from writing our own stories... i guess im use to a more controlled atmosphere. Im sorry for having wasted your time... thanks for the opportunity though.

Chewey, Do those thieves have to be in the game?

LOL, I am not the DM, so can not make the decision to destroy them with a divine lightning bolt.

Yeah there is some confusion as to what's going on. Even I find myself following the most coherent storyline and having to check back on the others.

I let the (other) group break off because it seemed, at the time, that they had some ideas that they wanted to explore and some of their own themes they wanted to work out. So I suppose while you were sitting around waiting for me to jump into your quest, I was sitting back waiting to see what you guys were going to come up with.

Also, a fair amount of people have dropped out. Not that that's a problem since for a second, it seemed like we had far too many people to manage (and for awhile, we did). But that means that only the frequent posters have a storyline that makes sense while infrequent posters are often confused with those who have left entirely.

I'm crystalizing the storyline for my little band of heroes so that they can be a true party without the DM conveniently dropping in as a leader and moving them where I want them. The "other" (god I hate saying that) party just has to put up a few posts that lets me know how many of them are still posting and where they are. Then I can start molding the story around you as well.

Failing that, we can always meet up at some inn or tavern after this little fracas my lads (and lasses) have gotten themselves into. There, players can swap tales and everyone form up into one group.

I promise you, there will be at least one open spot on the team. A managerial one, so to speak.

i really enjoy my character but sadly I am loosing a lot of my precious internet time to some familial issues that have come up over the last week.. Maybe my character could come back at a later time but right now shes out..

Also I am also used to a kind of tight reigned d&D type dm that does lead where the story goes (with the rolling of dice and such)

Sorry to hear about the less internet time, Muskokan . I know all about that. Good luck.

I am still in , if the thread is going to continue.

Chewey

Well, that is at least five of us still in. Maybe the two groups or remnants of them can get together after this current story arc. Just an idea.

Chewey

Ok , calling Karde.....calling Karde...... we need you to post. hehehe

Chewey

I would love to post , but I have wait for Karde to post so we can see what is going on. Has there been a karde sighting?

**Perrin reaches into his oversized pack and brings out a large piece of venison. Pulling his long sword out of the scabbard from his back, Perrin breaks it up into multiple pieces to share out. **

HEHEHE

Well, it was a good thread while it lasted. Sorry to see it go......*starts playing taps on a kazoo*......
