Lao Fan
Okay. He's been trying to be nice. But he's a young man and proud, and at this point, Lao Fan is starting to get really offended.
"You!" he hissed, his eyes narrowing into slits at Tarast. "You are a worthless fool! You dare to accuse me, when you insulted me, and I tried to let it slide? I never let things slide! You should be flattered! And besides: you are an animal! And no one has any reason to trust you more than they have reason to trust me! Yet you assume you somehow have some sort of credibility! Idiot! You haven't helped these ladies do anything so far. You forget your place!"
Electricity crackles around his hands. It's clear he's trying to contain himself, and failing.
"I rarely associate with your type, and I have tried to be as polite as I can, but you clearly fail to recognize who I am. I am Lao Fan. I am top of my class, and have twice the power of my second. I am the son of a legend. And I could kill you in a heartbeat if I desired. You can't run faster than a psychic blast, animal. Or perhaps I should use my Ego Inhibitor spell and repress what human nature you have, revealing your true bestial self?" He clenches his fists, and seems to master himself a little. "Hmmph," he says, swishing his braid with a little sneer. "I won't waste my energy splattering you across the ground. I cannot fight in front of ladies, even ones so uncultured as to slap me, after I only offer a coat and mistake her identity. For a princess, at that! I fail to understand the problem." He casts a baleful eye at Alicia. "If I had any desire for these women, I would entrap you in a Force Cage, beastman, and take what I wanted. But, you see, I have the Wei sense of honor. If you can read, I suggest you look it up. Then again, I doubt any humans would let you anywhere near a library. You might attack a weaver's shop and start rolling in all the yarn."
"I belong here. You don't belong anywhere, mutant!"
Spinning on his heel, Lao Fan stalks a few yards away, and looks back over his shoulder, still glaring. "It's too late for any of you to learn manners, I'm afraid. You'll regret the day you made an enemy of Lao Fan."
And with a snap of his fingers and a bitter "Teleport!", he vanishes.
