Oh, Lon, when I think of all those awful people you come in contact with, downright criminals, I get scared.
Oh, there's nothing so different about them. After all, Crime is only a left-handed form of human endeavor.
The Asphalt Jungle (1950)
A great quote but before my time.
Casablanca, best movie ever!!!!! Feel the yearning romance."Round up the usual suspects."
You’re very lucky to have a father who understood the importance of schooling you in classic movies. Can there be a more important subject? I know, some people say medicine is a critical subject, but I think that’s just med school propaganda. I mean, how much more time do you spend watching movies than seeing your doctor.Well before my time. But my father, being in the exhibition business, has schooled me well on Classic Movies. The film is about the perfect heist that ended up being not so perfect. Sterling Hayden is the big name in it. He was also the tallest man in the movie, but he usually was. If you've seen the Godfather, you've seen him. The bad cop that Micheal shot in the throat.
Are you quoting my favorite movie of all time? I know it’s been used elsewhere than Casablanca.
Come out and plaaaay!!"CAN YOU DIG IT?"
I followed that example in my Rendezvous series (https://www.literotica.com/s/the-rendezvous-ch-01-1). I knew what I wanted- the four leads in a casual sex relationship within one day when they only knew each other by reputation and a single friendship with denied attraction prior to the story. They got there, but with no outline it was rough. My favorite character did a Taxi Driver bit in Ch. 4 (https://www.literotica.com/s/the-rendezvous-ch-04) and proved herself possibly crazier than deNiro.“You talking to me? You talking to ME? You talking to me? Then who the hell else you talking to? I’m the only one here. Who the fuck do you think you’re talking to? You talking to me?”
—Robert De Niro as Travis Bickle in Martin Scorsese’s classic, Taxi Driver
There was no script for this part of the movie. De Niro ad libbed it.
Ah, memories. It's the title of a movie, The Usual Suspects, but not sure the line is in the movie. Are you quoting my favorite movie of all time? I know it’s been used elsewhere than Casablanca.
Never say die!HEY YOU GUYS!!!
From the sequel-Listen, and understand. That terminator is out there. It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.
