Hi Guilty,

I am with you on this one - partially anyway. I do enjoy the RP's much more when there is a certain degree of descriptive posts and a decent quality in writing. But then again , seeing there is quite a lot of the more "short kept" communication going on I assume some people just like it that way. *shrugging shoulders* His or hers to anyone - just as it is IRL.

I do agree though that a minimum of spelling , gramar and punctuation just makes it a lot easier and more agreeable to read and thus reply to the posts. So - if there are some of you out there wondering why you don't get the kind of descriptive and more detailed answers - that might be the reason.

I am a little reluctant to rant about spelling (and typos), since I too am one of the "un lucky" to not have english as their first language - and I wouldn't want to discourage anyone to come and play and practising the language, just because they are not really language - Wiz's (*lol* see, I am even making up my own words). I for one am bad with typos too, but at least I try to give the whole thing some attention.

Sure - this is a sex-site, so there are no Pulitzer-Prices to be won, but I just enjoy the stories and fantasies more, if they are readable and slightly descriptive . Just a lot easier to respont to than just one sentance.... BUT .. then again - this is just me. Good thing we have a choice in where to go and what to respond to, right?

*chuckles* just for some "self promotion" somewhere wayyyyy down there should be some hints for RP fun if anyone is interested ..

Posts like "Highschool Reunion" "Highschool Tease" "A Lesson Learned" "Fantasies Come True"...post like those with story lines, I find exciting. You never which way the story is going to go, especially when you have so many talented writers throwing their ideas itno the mix. Pointlss fuck stories are definitly not my cup of tea. I saw her and I fucked her. Theres no character or story devleopment and its...well...boring. When a good thread finally reaches actual sex after two or three pages of posts, it feels deserved and more worth while.

True, as Hecate said, there are no Pulitzers to be won. Heeyyy, thats actually a good idea...awards for good writing? Maybe not. Just kind of popped into my head.

I have been delighted to read most of your postings, Hecate and Merelan....have you noted any of mine? I am particularly proud of "Sharing Wife With Another"...take a few minutes to read it. It might provide an evening's entertainment.

And, yes, I too have been having difficulty with some of the writing here of late. The spelling and the punctuation have deteriorated to levels I am not accustomed to seeing.

Whatever do you think we might do about that?

I fully agree Guilty, and that is the reason I no longer come here. As much as enjoyed writing in the High School Reunion, I have not seen THAT much take my fancy anymore.

I am also like you in the fact that the one line posts don't do anything for me, give me description, feeling, tell me what is in your mind, then you may grab my attention.

This in no way goes to the people that write a story line that keeps me informed, and I am sure those people know who they are.

Give me this and I may come back and start to become more involved once again.

Yes Master... you are right. I am yours to command, but you weren't around and a decision needed to be made.

About the posts. I agree. Even joined one and tried to get it to change a bit, but they stubbornly refused to develop and grow, so left. Nothing personal, but anyone that has read the rp's I get involved with can see that I prefer a developed story line and a halfway intelligent group of people to interact with.

Notes for Merelan and Hecate

I have not heard from either of you for some time...vacationing?

Hecate....I am fascinated by everything you have said, and I know we have spoken of my current project 'Sharing Wife with Another'.....so why not talk to me directly....a post here will do.....please check my last post to you.


Merelan....if you crave imagination and a well-developed story line, why not invite me to play with you? What possibly could be lost except a post or two if you find me beneath your level of expectation? Visit "Sharing Wife with Another" for a sample .... from the beginning, of course.

Just a suggestion. Why don't you use a rating system for the various stories? Create a legend that authors can use to rate the level of literary importance. There's no guarantee that authors will use them, but when it is used, it might help to steer folks in the right direction.

Here are some possible levels:

1. Pulitzerotica - Highest Level- For those authors that not only take pride in their creative abilities, but their writing and English (or their respective language) skills as well.

2. Writerotica - Medium Level - For those authors that enjoy writing, but put more emphasis on the size of ones penis or tits, verses the size of ones vocabulary. Not that there's anything wrong with this.

3. Shorterotica - Lower Level - For those authors that enjoy using their imagination, but find writing only a necessity in order to get their rocks off. Again, nothing wrong with this.

4. Illiterotica - Lowest Level - For those…ughm…authors… that have trouble reading this legend. These stories contain words with no more than four letters, with the exception of words like fuckING or fuckED.


The idea here isn't to label people, but label the stories, a menu if you will.

It's Just a suggestion...so shoot me!

Actually you know what?? That's not a bad idea.

It would also make it a little easier for those of us that read the stories. I like to come here and read, and I may join another SRP if I can find one worthwhile.

BUT ... Who would decide what is what Idea??

Think more into it and then take the idea to Laurel, see what can be done.

As for the "scores" Idea, I don't know , I don't know .... You see, I really wouldn't want to "judge" any posters, this is all meant to be fun for the parties involved ... I just go by the "players" actually since in the meantime I do have a feeling there is a quite obvious amount of names indicating one-line action and more "hardcore" style RP, whereas other names stand for more lengthy pituresque and story like style of writing. But well - if there is some elaborate scheme behind categories ... *shrugging shoulders* I guess I wouldn't mind participating.

Whit, I am flattered to see you were seemingly missing me *S* ... I am unfortunately having only very limited time for my on-line escapades *chuckles* and so the only active posting I do atm. is at "The Convention" thread...

Guilty - I still do see good threads come up - and I think the more people DO join in those more elaborate ones the more of them we will be having - same is valid for all of us who prefer the more elaborate style... get in touch with the people you would like to play with and play the way you like it (and others seemingly like to read)
Hmmm ... maybe we should start another OOC thread just for posting upcoming ideas and requests for people to play? (I for one just don't feel I can play more then one, max 2 RP's at the same time and still mainatin a certain level of quality in my posting, simply a question of time, so I for one wouldn't mind to have a "menue" to choose from in advance *chuckles*) that is just a spontaneous thought that crossed my mind as I type - so let me ponder a little over it ...

OK - anything else I missed out on commenting in? I am sure I'll remember it and ... well, you know me guys and gals, I can't keep my big mouth shut anyway

always wanted to do one in a casino setting but, oops, that belongs in the idea thread!

Nicole - The only thing I've seen you write in was Highschool Reunion, and it was a very good thread. I would be very interested in seeing you take part in another RP sometime soon.

Guilty, that IS the only writing I have done babe. I had to be coaxed into that too. I am not a writer, but I did enjoy what I did on that thread.

Hecate, I'm sorry, I didn't mean any offense to you or anyone else, but as you know The Highschool Reunion was my first peice of writing, I didn't think it appropriate to jump into threads that were already "IN SWING" so to say. They being the only ones that interested me.

I will think about maybe even starting a new one or I may Email you with a few idea's (If you don't mind).
