Sort of an odd question, but since I started taking hormones, I've noticed some new feelings. It starts as an odd tingling sensation, then grows, encompassing the rest of my body. Sometimes it feels like it's a wave pulsating over me. It's the most amazing thing I've ever felt, and it's extremely intense. The only problem is the feeling is very fleeting. It seems to come on randomly, and only lasts a second. It's quite frustrating...

Anyway, I wanted some idea of what other women experience so I know what to expect. Does the feeling persist?

When I get aroused 'just like that' it's a sensation that will grow, depending on the situation and circumstances. First I have to 'allow' it to grow, because sometimes it's just plain inconvenient. Then, when I 'allow' it, it just does not have it's way and do what it wants (how I wish, sometimes....)

I have to feed it somehow. I guess it's a lot like the random erections men get. When they don't act or don't allow their bodies (and minds!) to actually do something with it, the erection will subside and go away.

That's all I can say about it I guess....

What hormones are you taking? Are you talking about menopause or peri-m?

I'm taking pure estrogen. I'm a T-girl, so all of this is new to me.

Thanks for that info. I'm not sure what to say since your experiencing somethings that I might take for granted being a woman (no disrespect intended). My first thought was "Lucky lady!" those are nice sensations to have even if fleeting.

What you've described reminds me of what I call "breath taker" because that's what it feels like for me. It is sudden and seems to go straight from my mind to my pussy like a little twister. Sometimes it's as quick as a shiver of delight or a gasp of breath.

They are delicious, I hope you have many more...

I also hope things go well for you during this process, you have a lot of courage. :rose:

I get sensual shivers too. It's a single intense shiver pulse, not pleasurable in the erotic sense, but still quite nice. I get them a dozen times a day, for no reason at all. They started long before hormones too. People always ask if I'm cold, but I just say no, and smile to myself... Yawning is also nice. Very satisfying...

The other sensation is definitely erotic, and seems to happen the most when I'm aroused. They've been lasting a bit longer since they first started (still less than a second), so I'm hoping the feeling will last longer in time. It's just so...intense. I would be thrashing and near screaming if it lasted any longer. It's that good.

Talking with my other TS friend, she describes the feeling as something that makes you want to squirm around on the sheets and cuddle. I can sort of see that, but sensations are very difficult to describe.

Can anyone else relate to these feelings?

are you talking aobut the shiver you get when you have that final pee? or similar to that?

No, I've never had anything like that. The shivers occur randomly throughout the day. It's like a single powerful full body muscle spasm.

i guess its what you call when someone walks over your grave!!!

and i am really just guessing here!!!! as i honestly havent got a clue as to what arousal feels like at all

It can give the same kind of chills but I do hope for most people the two are different. This one makes your stomach turn while the chills from arousal are pleasurable, although they can even be somewhat painful sometimes. Like when you ache for something. I think it's a good thing when you know what that feeling is like.

You don't? Why do you think that? I can't imagine that. It has a lot do do with excitement. I suppose you feel that at least sometimes?

excitement about what? the fact that i dont feel anyting when we have sex? or excitement from the fact that at least i can cuddle him without being interupted, because thats the best it gets for me.

i havent a clue honestly if or when i get aroused i really dont know at all and have no idea as to why its like that for us

Excitement about other things than sex. When you know what that is like you have something to compare your feelings with while you are intimate. I can get very excited about many things; when I accomplish something - for instance - that I've worked really hard for, or when I succeed at something and others compliment me. When I look in the mirror and feel sexy that day (because I don't feel that all the time)... It gives me pleasure, it even gets me a little 'high' sometimes. I think that is excitement.

I wonder why you think you don't have feelings like that. It can be because your expectations are way too high, so nothing will really do it for you. On the other hand you could be so depressed that you don't have any (positive) feelings at all.

Can you say you are truly in love with the person you are with? If so, how do you know this when you only feel 'excitement' about the fact that you can be together uninterrupted - and nothing else? If you still say you are in love and want to be with that person there must be something, some feeling, that makes you want to stay.

I am together with M for almost three years and he can still take my breath away sometimes. When he does or says something that really touches me. Can be while we are having sex or on an unexpected moment of true intimacy between us. That's when you get that feeling. It's as if, for a short moment, nothing is wrong in the whole world!
