Now I would like to discuss something I have always wondered about, and that is when you first realized you were attracted to women. How old were you and did you think it was mere curiosity (is it still?) or did you realize it was plain desire?

Me? I was a late bloomer. I think the feelings towards women were hidden deep inside of me for years but I refused to recognize them. I had always been taught that it was wrong. I have not regretted a minute of it. I have at this time a wonderful woman whom I love very much and had I repressed those feelings I never would have found her, nor some of the wonderful friends I have come to know on this board.

Good question: I was 15 years of age when i had my first girl/girl...we ended up dating for a year, i came out to my mother at the same time...so I never had a time for as long as i can recall when i wasn't attracted to women. We are, after all, very sensual creatures. I have never claimed to be curious , even from day one. Well first off I'll say truly great thread! My hats off to all contributors!
and to answer FinestSilk's question...I think I may have been around 25 when I accepted that I was sexually attracted to women as well as men.
