He put his PA constituents ahead of partisan politics.I'm as surprised as anyone about Fetterman. Once he got all his marbles back, he's proving himself to be a thinking, reasoning man - unlike the timid, lockstep pussies that populate his party. I don't give a fuck what he wears.
He's no Republican, but he's a throwback to the time when many Democrats were capable of reason.
He put his PA constituents ahead of partisan politics.
Read the room. Your party caved.
As a US Senator, he votes on 28% of the bills put up for a vote. This is the lowest percentage of the entire Congress.
He got a corrosive profile in last month's Atlantic from former AND CURRENT staffers. He's obviously in a deeply disturbed mental state. If you think Biden's condition was hidden from the public, consider Fetterman's handlers:
His staff says his mental instability is far worse this time than it was when his highly publicized episode in 2024 became public. His staff says they're trying their best to hide it this time because Fetterman got so upset the first time his condition was made public.
- He has routine crying jags in the office that last hours at a time
- He has yelled at constituents for no reason
- He has "delusions of grandeur", such as when he told the press that NOBODY knew more about the Israel-Gaza situation than HE did. What special insight does he have? He smugly said he watches more TV than most people. Oh.
The guy is obviously unfit to hold office right now. But we live in the newly forming Dark Age of America, so that's not immediately disqualifying.
Fetterman's cave-in tracks to what I posted months ago.
So this fucking muppet voted against his party and supporters on a piece he didn't understand.
Primary his punk ass.

From the very beginning, Fetterman recognized that shutting down the government was a no-win tactic. Schumer and the progressive Democrats pulling his strings thought the shutdown was “getting better for us every day”, but they were wrong.
Nah, BabyBoobs was right in their other post: Fetterman and the others “caved”.
(I would say Fetterman, etc were happy to take the recent election wins and didn’t want to taint those wins by being part of ruining Thanksgiving & Christmas for the majority of Americans -while leaving health insurance hanging around the necks of DonOld & the MAGAt republicans for The New Year. Happy Holidays!!!)
Side note:
John Fetterman benefitted from his taxpayer funded health insurance to the nth degree when he received treatment for his various health issues, and then he turned around and spit in the faces of (betrayed) all those struggling Americans who are going to lose their health insurance or see their costs rise exponentially (though to be fair, DonOld & EVERY MAGAt republican betrayed struggling Americans to a far greater degree).
Side side note:
If DonOld & the MAGAt republicans continue with their “cruelty is the point” style of "governance" (with the help of DINOs like Fetterman) and they just let the chips fall where they may with the nation’s health insurance (they don’t extend the ACA subsidies), then John Fetterman and maaaaany other politicians who kicked the health insurance can down the road (with the average American inside that can) will likely be out of office at the next opportunity.
We. Told. Them. So.

FYP You're welcome.Fetterman fits right in with his new political friends. He and the other 7 fools screwed so many illegal aliens.
They said it was about ACA subsidies, but as progressive New York Times columnist Ezra Klein noted, it was never really about that.
It was effective in that it got more people to pay attention. That will help in January when it happens again into an election year. They said it was about ACA subsidies, but as progressive New York Times columnist Ezra Klein noted, it was never really about that.
Democrats said the shutdown was about the subsidies, but for most of them, it wasn’t. It was about Trump’s authoritarianism. It was about showing their base — and themselves — that they could fight back.
Now Dems are having an intraparty argument over how they got into this debacle and who is to blame. The extreme left wing which is gaining more control of the party blames the gang of eight.![]()
Smart thinking, queer eye.I care what he wears. He represents the will and needs of his constituents before the entire US of A and if he dresses like a slob that rubs off on them.
I think he'd look good in a fawn camel-hair car coat over charcoal slacks and a nice wing collar shirt (in white of course). Other than needing a clip-on tie for when he's on the floor, he'd look great and it would go with his personality and face/body structure.
It would certainly elevate his appearance from his usual hoodie and shorts game.
Rome is burning and our dear leader redecorates or plays golf or attends a football game or watches tv... creating more chaos for all of us.It was effective in that it got more people to pay attention. That will help in January when it happens again into an election year.
The basics are fairly clear - the things that matter to people are things Republicans don't care about.
1. Expenses/prices - prices are up and Republican tariffs are increasing them
2. Healthcare expenses are also up - and Republicans want to cut programs that keep them lower for a large portion of the country
Both of those things should be focused on from now through the election. This administration is too busy throwing gold plated parties, decorating the white house, golfing and receiving gold plater crowns from Japan to do anything about them.
Oh .....and promising $2000 checks that he can't deliver on.
You're such a tool.FYP You're welcome.
Yep. Campaign managers need to pay attention and hit this on every AD in every market.Rome is burning and our dear leader redecorates or plays golf or attends a football game or watches tv... creating more chaos for all of us.
People paid more attention to SNAP and cancelled flights than the push to continue the “Covid emergency.” They fucked the public for 41 days and got nothing but an energized far left wing base.It was effective in that it got more people to pay attention. That will help in January when it happens again into an election year.

The economy took a hit, air travel is a mess, and SNAP beneficiaries faced uncertainty and delays, all because your party picked a fight it could never win.
