That being said, I don't know if there will be any new pics for a while. I keep finding this thread buried on page 3 or 4, or gone all together. Apparently, there isn't enough interest.

Also, I seem to not be getting any replies on other threads that I post on. Either my computer isn't working right and it's not actually posting things I write, or I'm just being ignored. Or maybe somebody reported me as some sort of sexual freak (Just kidding! Aren't we all?)! Either way, I won't be around on lit as much as I used to. This doesn't mean there will never be new pics or posts, it'll just be a while.

I don't understand it either, but I found this thread buried at the bottom of page 3. Often, I find it gone completely. Weird, I know.
 
Sorry to hear that you are disappointed by the slowness of responses.

As a longtime lurker, I have noticed that most responders go in cycles. There is a group of perhaps a dozen hard core Literoticians that seem to have nothing else to do, but most of us have a real life that forces us to look, appreciate and respond only on certain days or at certain times. In the meantime, responses to other threads can indeed force your thread off the first page. I would not get too upset. Those of us who watch your thread and appreciate you will keep it alive!

So keep on posting! We all look forward to hearing from you and seeing your smokin' bod!

Yeah, don't take this so personally. Activity on lit often wanes for no apparent reason. First, you'd be surprised to discover that, although there are millions of people who know about lit, and thousands who may have participated at one point or another, the actual number who participate regularly is quite small... Perhaps a few dozen, really. As you know, people's daily and weekly routines sometimes change seasonally. For example, I'm far less active here during the summer simply because I choose to spend more time with my family while they're on vacation. That doesn't mean I lost interest. It is just a practical aspect of my life. So, just trust in the process, and the natural ebb and flow of activity will bring people to your thread. I hope that helps!

Whaddyathink... you're a guy, right? Does your woman never actually post on lit herself? Does she not have her own login? Does she ever post on lit using your name? Or is she not really bothered about the site?

I know that you're a regular poster on our thread, and I know that my wife regularly replies to you. Occasionnally she doesn't, but if it's anytime between 9am and 10pm UK time (GMT) then there's a good chance she may be at work and although it says she's online, she actually uses her phone for the internet while she's at work, which sometimes keeps her logged in even when it's in her pocket and she's busy doing.... well... work stuff!
I noticed you posted two Good Morning messages on our thread today. I'm certain you weren't simply being ignored, there's just a lot going on and you happened to post at an unfortunate time, even though she may have just posted a few short minutes before. I wouldn't be surprised if the same happens elsewhere.

As for the thread falling off the board, it happens to everyone and all of us. There's over 20,000 threads on the AmPic forum alone, and I'd hazard a guess that at least 500 of those are still "active" and receiving regular posts.

And as far as getting replies on here, I come back to the question I started with: Does your woman post here? On our thread we only posted about 200 pics, but the thread has run for nearly 170 pages, and I'm convinced that it's because it's her and not me that does most of the talking. I could come on your thread and say "Nice pics" but what else is there to say? From my own experience not just of my wife's thread, but of reading other threads on lit is that the most popular ones involve the women in the pictures flirting with the men. That's why they take off. I bet none of the lit guys would be so bothered about talking to me.

My advice: If your woman isn't interested in posting her own messages on here, but you get your kicks from having other men look at her pics (like I do) then set up an index on the first page and keep shamelessly bumping this thread back to the top. LOADS of people will see. And I know you also enjoy the chat (who doesn't?) but be patient with it.

Don't stop posting if it's what you enjoy.

I'm just not much of a poster on other peoples threads, that's all.

Take care buddy, and don't be a stranger on our thread either, we like having you around. :)
