Life would be way easier if there were just some magic words to let someone know you were interested. Like..Rocket ships are fast when blue.

...and here come the flood of PM's entitled "Rocket Ships are Fast When Blue."

What about being straightforward?

You know, I thought about just saying something like 'you're really attractive.' but then I thought of looots of ways to be rejected.

well, worst case scenario would be like:

"You're really attractive"
"Sorry sister, I prefer boys"

im sure u'll have the confidence to just say it straight to the lucky guy. and hes got half a decent brain, he'd at least thank you for the comment :)

oh and a compliment never hurt anyone :)

I don't think that would happen. You're too attractive for someone to reject you if you told him straight out you're interested. And even if he does reject you...you're no worse off than asking him about rocket ships. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Mmk, so at my job I deal with quite a few attractive (*coughunderstatementcough*) guys, and of course I smile and act nice just like I do with all of the customers. But is there any way to let a guy (who you're most likely a) tossing a salad for or b) handing fried chicken to) that you're interested?

besides busting out with 'omg you're hot do me on that table over there puleeeease'? Because I've tried that and he hasn't been in since....(kidding)

You're in a difficult position. Do you get to interact with them beyond "here's your food"?

Or maybe "So does your girlfriend love fried chicken? What's that? You're single? Oh really."

i sure hope you get an idea, with all the guys here giving tips one of them might just work for you

A new one came in today. Kinda looked like Drew Stanton  And his car? Niiiiice.

"Hey, good to see you again! Here's your chicken. Btw, I is that (X) you car? That's niiiiiice! I'd love to take a ride sometime..."

Ta-da! Naked in a nice car.

Oh sure..I can say 'want me to ring you up?' or 'what else would you like on your ceasar besides chicken?'

Yeah and have him know that I was craning my head way over the counter to try and see which car he got into?

And hope it's not the biggest piece of crap in the parking lot.

Given the story I just related, I think the direct approach is your best bet. I just have to think the chances of rejection, if he's single and straight, are about zero.

Yes, becasue the purpose of this exercise is not to let him know you're interested.

There are lots of reasons you could have seen his car. You already know he's interested in it...the point is to relate to something he already likes and show shared interest. It reflects back on you.

Anywho..gotta get to bed if I'm going to get up for work tomorrow!

Hi AFS

Try the simple things, eye-contact, keep him talking "are you local?" "do you work near?" "know any good bars etc"

With your looks and confidence if he doesn't pick up the bait then you don't really want to see him anyway. Good luck  :rose:

Oh yeah! that's why I haven't been around lately--me and him has been getting it ooooon.
 no, he hasn't come in
