First Video chat was disastrous

Well had my first video chat and it was a disaster...
I was so ill prepared and didn't know what to expect..I was like a frigid school girl on her first date.
Had a hard time making conversation. Couldn't get good camera angles using the laptop.
He said audio didn't sound that good.
He finally lost interest and graciously said good night.

So embarrassed and feeling inadequate..I'm giving up trying to present as a woman in the live arena.
Video chatting is sooooo different than trying to carry on a live conversation much less a date.

I guess its not for me..Back to being my 'drab' self.

I don't understand why you did not just use cell phones and chat apps like WhatsApp or Messenger? My girlfriend and I have been chatting for years and years with none of the audio or video problems that you describe. Maybe you should give it another go?
