Well I would think you would need to do lots and lots of stretching for a fist time.

That sounds good advice, I have been fooling about with various things and I have bought a but plug,would you do an enema before every time, how should I go about the first time, any particular position, or should I just go with the flow.

As Ezzy said, spend lots of time stretching and preparing, doing anal is not just sticking something in your bum, whih can cause incredible pain if you are not ready.
