The door bell rang and Tommy’s mother excused herself. When she returned she had Maria.
Thomas’ eyes were as large as globes.
“Ummm Hi I guess. Wow…you were the last person I thought I would see today although…umm. Can we talk?” He said stammering.
“Maybe privately downstairs…no offense mom.” He said hugging his mom and she gave him a motherly kiss. He had obviously been pouring out his soul and using some Kleenex. He grabbed a painting he had turned toward the wall as he followed Maria downstairs.
“Well her goes….I umm had a dream about you Ria…and been doing some thinking. I even painted this picture from my dream.” He said and showed her.
“I am not trying to freak you out…but why did we never….why have we fallen out of each other’s…lives?” he asked somberly.
