He's quite a conservative. I'm sure the two of you would get along swimmingly. Overall, he's in good health, but he's had a few issues. He's nearly blind in one eye, has impared vision in the other, his hearing is not that great, he has injured both of his shoulders (rotator cuffs), but none of that has stopped him from carrying a pistol.

Well, it is an expensive trip. My wife is working and my daughter is in school. The cost/benefit analysis just doesn't make sense. We do hope to make a trip North this summer, though.

If you drive north from Seattle for 2 hours you'll be about 30 minutes South of the Canadian border. That's if you're not exceeding the posted speed limits. Somehow, though, I suspect that you've got a bit of a lead foot. Am I right?

I know you're not as closed-minded as my father. Still, you're fairly conservative, especially compared to me. On the other hand, I'm not exactly a knee-jerk liberal either... Maybe we are closer, politically, than either of us suspect.

For example, I'm sure you recall the recent, and earlier, congressional paige scandals. My feelings about this are that, if our elected officials work better after having sex with young men, perhaps we should revise the paige program so that it employs gay sex workers. Why deny our leaders their fundamental needs, simply because some folks are a bit squeamish about butt sex. After all, they're not going to corrupt the sanctity of marriage. For those congressional leaders, few as they may be, who prefer sex with women, I'm sure they could hire a few female sex workers as well. Now, I realize that, for some of our leaders, having sex with an 18 year old male prostitute doesn't have the same thrill as seducing a 16 year old boy but, for the sake of propriety, some sacrifices must be made.

I'd love to hear your thoughts about this, JK.
