For Those Who Might Be Wondering Why We Might Be In Ukraine

Why?

And if Ukraine wants to continue to fight, they will.

The alternative, that you want, is capitulation.
I want nothing one way or the other. I judge solely by the facts on the ground, as I have from day one. The media lies in every war—and they lied in this one, too. This conflict will be decided on the battlefield, as I’ve said repeatedly. Ukraine is not going to win. Zelensky is abandoning his encircled troops to starve and die where they stand; he is a ruthless little tyrant. The roughly ten thousand Ukrainian soldiers trapped in two pockets near Pokrovsk and Kupiansk are doomed. The Russians have offered them the chance to surrender or face destruction. Zelensky rejected surrender, condemning men who can no longer defend themselves and have no hope of resupply. They now face systematic annihilation. There is no shame in surrender when effective defense is impossible or pointless, as it clearly is here.

For comparison, during the early months of World War II, Major General Edward P. King Jr. surrendered approximately 75,000 U.S. and Filipino troops on Bataan, one of the largest surrenders in U.S. history. On May 6, 1942, Lieutenant General Jonathan Wainwright surrendered the remaining 11,000 troops on Corregidor. Why? Because they were trapped, without realistic means of resupply or defense, and unable to care for their dead and wounded humanely. The majority of those men lived to carry on productive lives after the war.

You consistently suggest that Ukraine should capitulate to Russia and exaggerate the situation on the ground in favor of Russia.

Zelensky continues to work with his parliament to put forth the will of the people, which continues to support defense of their country.

You lie a lot. I don't exaggerate anything about Ukraine. I don't entertain your illusions or those of our legacy media who are constantly being shown up to be the liars they are on just about everything they report. Zelensky is a mindless dictator who cares more about himself than he does about the men under his command or his people. I understand the West wants to get rid of Putin, defeat Russia, and then carve it's territory and resources up among themselves. How they think they can accomplish this without being nuked is beyond me at present.

You really need to educate yourself.

Around 18,000 of those 75,000 prisoners died on the Bataan Death March. They most certainly did not live to carry on productive lives after the war.

The ones who did survive the war endured PTSD for the rest of their lives and, by extension, so did their families.

And I'm sorry but FUCK YOU for downplaying the atrocities of the Japanese while you make a case for the atrocities of the fucking Russians.

My father was captured by the Japanese (not at Philippines) and after the war he was sent to Mass General where they reconstructed his skull with metal plates. He was tormented by his suffering and the result was my mother, sister, brother, and myself had to deal with his explosive rage, his POW hoarding behaviors, his violent outbursts, and midnight screaming from his nightmares.

FUCK YOU for giving the Japanese a pass as some sort of excuse for Russian atrocities. The survivors of the Russians will be haunted for the rest of their lives. So will their families.

And if Russia manages to win in Ukraine those cunts will slaughter millions just like they did before.

Zelensky cannot surrender to Russia because if he does the death toll within a few years will absolutely be in the millions.

Of course you do. You've called the battle for Provolosk for Russia even though it's still in contention.

You continually declare the war over and won for Russia regardless of the situation on the ground, which has been a basic stalemate for over two years.

I don't rely on any singular source of information.

Zelensky is a mindless dictator who cares more about himself than he does about the men under his command or his people.
He is the duly elected President of the country and only has the emergency power bestowed on him by Parliament, which is reviewed and renewed multiple times a year.

Ukraine is being invaded by Russia. They are defending themselves against that invasion as long as they decide they want to. They have been at the negotiating table waiting on Russia to stop jerking them around and push for peace. Russia dangles bullshit to continue the facade that it cares. And that is what has occurred, regardless of which media you have chosen to subscribe to.

Poles have a VERY good idea of what surrendering to the Russians results in. As do the Ukrainians who fought the renewed occupation by the Soviets from 1944 on int the 1950's/

So do the Ukrainians. It was call the Holodomor. More Ukrainians died at the hands o the Russians tham Jews died in the death camps and massacres. There was a reason that when the Wehrmacht marched through Kiev in the early days of the war they were greeted by crowds throwing flowers. And likewise in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

When you say "there is no shame in surrender" you are, quite simply, advocating for the genocide of Ukrainians and the Ukrainian nation. There's a reason the Russians came with mpbile crematoriums in 2022 and began massacring Ukrainians. You can rest assured that as Kherson, the Crimea and Donetsk are liberated, more mass graves will be uncovered. When you sayb "surrender" you are asking for Ukrainians to lone up to be tortuired and executed. You have NO concept of what occupation by the Russians means. None whatsoever.

As for Zelensky being a tyrant. complete rubbish, as even a little cursory followup with non-Russian popaganda sources will tell you. Zelensky was elected with an overwhelming majority, he is supported by almost everyone in Ukraine, and he had already said he is not standing for President again after the war, when they can again hold elections. He's likely to by suceeded by Zaluzhny according to all the polls. Unlike the dictator in Russi, who has only one way out of power and that is feet first after eating a lead pill. Calling Zelensky a tyrant is farcial.

As for ten thousand soldiers trapped in Pokrovsk, nothing like it. A few hundred and they'll work their way out. Kupiansk is almost retaken by Ukraine. As always, Ukraine will hold the line, inflict eormous casualties on the Russians and trade land for dead Russians. Meanwhile, destroying Russia.....

As for the surrender to the Japanese, ask anyone who was a prisoner of the Jpanese what they thought of that, after the fact. Ask the Chinese, for that matter. Little thinks like the Rape of Nanking spring to mind.

The West wants nothing of the sort. The Germans and our own Govt, both Biden and Trump. have done everything they possibly can to give Putin an off-ramp. The last thing they want is for the Russian Federation to disintegrate.

Unfortunately for Russia, if Putin takes an off ramp, he's dead. LIkely he's going to dead anyhow as the whole rotten empire crumbles around him. What you're seeing in Pokrovsk is the last gasp of a dying empire as it struggles to survive. When the collapse comes, it will be a bloody mess, and I'll be here for it!
