Ukraine’s Ternopil just this morning. A Russian missile (Kh-101?) directly hits a residential block.n At least 25 killed, including 3 kids.
And of course, Russian propaganda and Telegram channels are wildly rejoicing in ecstasy.
Russia is not even trying to hit military targets. They are deliberately attacking civilians night after night.
There really is only one way to deal with this, Russia delenda est.

Reuters reported on Wednesday that the US has asked President Volodymyr Zelensky to accept a peace plan which would involve relinquishing some territory and weapons, as well as reducing the size of Ukraine’s armed forces. Reuters cites two sources familiar with the matter who asked not to be identified due to the matter’s sensitivity. A senior Ukrainian official reportedly told Reuters previously that Ukraine had no involvement in drafting the plan. Also on Wednesday, US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll and top American generals arrived in Kyiv as Zelensky met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Ankara. Zelensky will return from Ankara to meet the US delegation on Thursday. Reuters’ Moscow bureau chief Guy Faulconbridge previously reported that US President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff would join Zelensky and Erdoğan in Ankara – but Witkoff did not attend the meeting between the two leaders.
The Reuters report follows a report by Axios less than 24 hours earlier that the US has been secretly co-ordinating with Russia to draft a 28-point peace plan which would end Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Witkoff is said to have taken the lead on drafting the plan, along with Russian economic envoy Kirill Dmitriev. Reuters’ report is broadly consistent with the details of that plan, as reported by Axios. The plan is said to have been based on principles established at the summit between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska earlier this year. One can only hope Europe and Zelensky teall Witkoff and Trump to fuck themselves. Actually I imagine it will be more diplomatic, but this plan has as much chance of suceeding as a snowball does of surviving in hell.
The Senate and the House need to make it plain to Trump that Witkoff has to go. And they need to grow w some balls and make it plan to Trump that if he supports this he's fucked in the head. I doubt Witkoff has gone rogue on this but if it has Trump's support, he needs to go too.
The GOP is already shaping up to lose the 2026 mid-terms. This simply gives GOP voters more reason not to vote for the GOP. Trump is irrational on this. Like he has been on more and more other issues.

Poland to purchase weapons for Ukraine worth $100 mln as part of PURL – FM Sikorsky
As part of the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL) program, Poland will allocate $100 million for the purchase of American weapons for Ukraine. The purchases will be financed from the budget of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said the head of the ministry, Radosław Sikorski. The US State Department has approved a potential foreign military sale (FMS) to Ukraine for the sustainment and related equipment of the Patriot air defence system, with an estimated value of $105m.
According to official information, Ukraine seeks to procure a range of sustainment-related articles and services for its Patriot system. This includes upgrading M901 launchers to the M903 configuration, as well as classified and unclassified prescribed load lists and authorised stockage lists for ground support equipment. According to DSCA, this deal will also enhance Ukraine’s ability to address current and future threats by further equipping it to conduct self-defence operations and regional security missions with improved local sustainment capabilities. Ukraine is expected to integrate the items and services into its armed forces without difficulty.
However, the US will assign approximately five additional representatives from the federal government and 15 contractor personnel to the European Combatant Command for up to one month in order to support training and periodic meetings related to the programme. Earlier, in July 2025, the US State Department authorised prospective sales of support services for Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles as well as HAWK Phase III missile systems to Ukraine. In October 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved amendments to the 2025 State Budget that will increase the Ministry of Defence’s expenditures by Hrv311bn ($7.4bn).

What it amounts to is Russia and the US are demanding a Ukrtainian capitulation. Ain't happening. Witkoff needs to be remaned Dumbkoff and if Trump is still relying on Witkoff, he's guaranteed to be disappointed.

I've ALWAYS voted GOP. I fully intendedto sit 2026 out and just not vote, but this latest - I was going to say it's stupidity but it's downright evil - from Trump and now Vance have, very reluctantly, convinced me to vote Democrat. Which makes me want to puke but it's unavloidable.
If Trump hadjust stuck to deporting illegal aliens and rebooting the economy, and canceling all the woke shit in the military and Federal Govt, as well as downsizing the Feds, that was all we wanted. Instead he's gone fuckig nuts with trade wars and backstabbing Ukraine and doing his best to force a victory for Putin.
THat's it for me. I'm going to hold my nose and vote Democrat in the mid-terms to help make sure Trump becomes a lame duck and better yet, impeached, and as for Vance, screw him too.
