So, who's winning?

Ukraine.

Russia is going bankrupt. An economy the size of California;s can't take on the EU and win. And with WU backing, Ukraine will win.The Russian Federation will collapse and disintegrate and Putin will be murdered from within.

Trump is an irrelevant distraction who needs to be placated for now. Once he and Vance are impeached he becomes completely irrelevant and ceases to be an anchor around Ukraines neck. Meanwhile, Ukraine will keep slaughtering Russians thru 2026, Trump won't get his Nobel Prize and he will continue to lash out in frustration. Ukraine's military will grow stronger and stronger. The first Gripen's will be begin to arrive, Ukrainian air defenses will continue to improve, no thanks to Trump.and Ukrainian missiles will strike deeper and harder.

Russian can't win. Trump can never force Ukraine to capitulate. Eventually UKraine will win. And when the Russian Army begins to collapse and withfraw, hopefully it'll be another Road of Death.....

India is cutting back on Russian oil purchases. The shadow fleet is slowly being taken out. Russia's poli export ports are being destroyed. Refineries and pipelines are being damaged, in amny cases irrepairably. The oblasts are increasingly close to bankruptcy themselves and unabe to front the money needed to draw volunteers for the meatgrinder, recuit #'s are tailing away. Artillery is old, ammo is crap, tanks are increasingy irrelevant, IFV's have more orless gone. Russia is now an infantry Army taking enormouse losses just to get their soldiers (untrained) to where they can "fight." Even Girkin now thinks a Bolshevik moment is coming for Russia.

Ukraine does not need to attack, except perhaps localized counter attacks. They just need to hold the line, suck Russians in, destroy them (and lets us not forget their target is 50k dead Russians a month in 2026). Their drones will dominate the front lines and my take is we will increasingly see attacks by Ukrainian Assaut Brigades retaking ground here and there where it's opportune. Russia is now attacking only at specific points where they can build up strength, unlikea coupleof years ago where they attackedd everywhere. As Ukraine increasingly works over their logistics, they will have less and less strength to attack and their losses will get worse and worse. The only thing keeping in the game right now is sheer numbers of untrained troops being poured into the meatgrinder.

You can see the result in Pokrovsk - the Russian troops are spooked - units advance into the night and fog and are never seen again.....and as Ukraine contunues to build up it's only going to get worse. The Lunxes are beginning to arrive....Ukraine industrial military output continues to cllimb, financed by the EU. EU output is climbing too, with more equipment aming its way to teh ZSU - and this is teh new stuff now, not old stuff from the stockpiles. Ukraine Bohdana 155mm gun production s climbing all the time, artillery ammo is no longer an issue, drone production is skyrocketing and EU countries and the UK are nor manufacturing drones for Ukraine too. The Russians are fucked.

All thst really keeping them in the fight is Trump assissting them with his fake "negotiations". After the impeachment, Witkoff and Kushner should be tried as war criminals at The Hague for assisting Putin.

The strain on Russia’s fighting force is becoming harder to conceal as new recordings surface from the battlefield. Ukrainian officials say intercepted calls are offering rare insight into daily conditions faced by soldiers. The latest release adds to a growing body of material pointing to shortages and declining morale among Russian units deployed in Ukraine. “We don’t eat, we don’t drink at all. If I turned to the side, you wouldn’t even notice me,” a Russian soldier said in an intercepted phone call released by Ukraine’s military intelligence agency, known as HUR, reported by United24Media, a Kyiv government-backed outlet.

The recording, whose recipient was not identified, captures the soldier describing severe weight loss and fatigue. He said his uniform no longer fits, adding that it “hangs on him like a coat hanger.” According to the soldier, food deliveries to his unit have almost stopped, forcing troops to survive on whatever limited supplies they can find nearby.

Ukrainian intelligence said the recording reflects a broader pattern seen in recent interceptions.

United24media reported that Russian front-line forces are increasingly left without basic logistical support.

The soldier also suggested his appearance had changed so drastically that he could only be recognised by his beard, a detail Ukrainian officials say mirrors other recent accounts of physical decline. “These complaints point to systemic logistical problems within the Russian army and demonstrate the inability of commanders to provide even the most basic supplies to front-line troops,” HUR said in a statement accompanying the release.

I guess even the donkeys are no longer getting through. Says somethng tho when Russia is not even capable of sending food and water to their front-line soldiers. They're expendable and they expect them to die - within days, because you don't last that png without water and sucking heavily contaiminate snow probably speeds up dying. No Army that treats their soldiers like this lasts that long.....the losses will eventually exceed the ability tom feed in replacements, and that's wjere this is going.

And just like that, Trump is destroying the American Defense Industry. .The US is losing sales around the world or moving production out of the US to other countries to ensure sales...Who wants to buy from someone, who will probably not allow you to use the weapons systems to their full capacity and will refuse you sufficient support, spare parts and ammo, if your politics doesn't fit with theirs? Without a reliable partner, spare parts, munitions and long term support becomes questionable. Why invest billions in a weapon made in the USA when there's a realistic chance you might find yourself in a war and the US cuts supply of your reloads or logistics support for spare parts and ammo. The same thing is happening with every US defense product.

Just like they treat Ukraine - refusing sufficient ammo...And the Kurds - US made weapons which the Kurds had did not operate when they were attacked by the new Syrian government before they were slaughtered.

For Nofrway, the final nail in the coffin was the refusal to delivery long range missiles. Add in cost and delivery times, and Chunmoo become the obvious choice. Dutch army also purchased the PULS system from Elbit Systems instead of HIMARS because of faster delivery times, more capacity (pods) and lower costs.

European countries began to replace HIMARS with EuroPuls produced with Elbit(Israel). Rocket agnostic, existing rockets can be adapted to the launcher. The US in 2026 has blocked adaptation of GMLRS rockets to EuroPuls. So the GMLRS market is now disappearing in Europe.

Large areas of Russia bordering Ulraine are actually ethnically Ukrainian - Rostov and the Don, the Kuban, Kursk,Belgord, etc. Anything east of the Urals have large minorities who resentb the Russian colonsts and would happily kick their asses back to where they came from - and without the Russian Army, likely would.

That entire strip along the Amur is actually part of China and the Chinese will take it back at the first opportunity.

Russia is one of the world's last 3 colonial empires and it will go the way of all other European empires in te end. There just aren't enough Russians to have any demographic takever capability. Unlike China or Java.

This is a bit of side-tracking, but I rwally enjoy linguistic history, and all of what is now Russia actually used to be Finnish - there are place names that have Finnish-langauge origins all the way south to the Black Sea and east to the Urals - the ealy ancestors of todays Finns inhabited the belt aong the egde of the ice during the last ice age and as the ice retreated north, they moved with it and at the same time were pushed out of the southernmost regions by the Slavs expanding out of the Balkans.

We see the remnants of those Finns in the Finno Ugric Republics of Mari and Mordovia as well as the rather more distamt Komi. Udmurt, Mansi and Kanty peoples = not to mention the remnant population of Veos and Karelians. Ingrians in the area around St Petersburg made up 25% of the population in 1917, but Stalin essentially exterminated the Ingrians - and the Karelian Finns didn't do to well either. The Estonians were lucky!

Anyhiw there are old Finnish-derived place names all through present-day Russia.
