What do you think of WWF buying out WCW? I think it is a sad day to have only one nationwide promotion.

well if WCW had of kept there ship where it was going pre hogan they would still be fighting up there with WWF for the ratings, but once WWF got rid of Hogan they went up and once WCW picked him up they starterted going down hill. Hogan is like a lead weight tied to a swimmer sooner or later he will haul you down to the bottom, WCW case in point.

There are several good possibilities that may come out of this one,

1. a possible new 24 hour wrestling channel

2. Jeff jarret wants to start his own promotion

3. Other indy proomotions may grow XPF? etc.

4. SEveral other wrestlers interested in getting promotions goings.

Only Time will tell. Many non wrestling fans will be happy and hope that Vince fails without competetion to keep motivated for story lines.

I agree that WCW turned into "WWF Light" but my main problem is that Titan Sports has way too much power to begin with. Without Turner's money, it will be hard for another group to compete on a national level.

I don't like WCW at all so I think it would be great, except the last I heard the deal fell through.

ECW is also gone. WCW has been awful in the last two years but still we need more then one national promotion.

Let's just face facts here, WCW was boring so now their gone. And who are we kidding to think that any new wrestling show could compete with the WWF. Kind of like the NFL and the XFL. One of those organizations is going down and it ain't going to be the NFL.
