(OOC: If you feel like posting here, please go ahead. I don't mind whether it's a girl or a guy or what age they are. This is open for whoever wants it <3 Also, don't worry about post length :) )

Calleigh Jameson. She was almost too cute to be in college, or so her friends liked to joke. She was 19, and relatively tall, standing at about 5'8", but her body was slender, almost petite in frame. Her bubbly personality meant people liked to be around her, her cute little smile and her melodic laugh were infectious, but the way she blushed and laughed when guys made sneaky little comments made her a prime candidate for teasing. They seemed to like it when that rosy tint came to her cheeks and she had to lower her gaze slightly, and even more when she'd ease into it slightly, maybe even mumbling a little tease of her own in return. Calleigh knew she was a pretty girl, but she wasn't as outwardly sexual as people seemed to think she should be. Self-confidence and a bubbly nature didn't mean that she had to be flaunting herself in front of people. That said, though, she wasn't above having sexually-inclined thoughts or reading erotic stories on the internet while driving herself wild. She was a young woman, after all, and a young woman did have her needs, though she knew she'd be horrified if someone found out.

Calleigh blinked the light out of her eyes, rolling over onto her side and looking blearily at the clock. When she realised the time, 8am, she almost panicked, until she remembered that it was the weekend and thus meant that she had no classes to get too. But when she tried to just drift back off to sleep she found she couldn't, and instead got up. As it was relatively early on a Saturday morning, she figured she'd be able to make it down to one of the shared bathrooms and freshen up without having to be embarassed by running into someone.

She didn't realise, as she left the room quietly and began to tiptoe quickly down the hallway, that she still had her socks on - her toes had been cold last night when gone to snuggle in between her sheets, so she'd pulled them on in an attempt to warm them up. It wasn't until she'd made it to the bathroom down the hall and freshened up for the morning, that she realised that her toes were't cold against the tiles and remembered the socks. She blushed slightly, though there was no one around to see her. Her little blue nightie and a pair of long white socks - that wasn't exactly the best look. With any luck, she'd make it back to her room before she met up with anyone. Peering around the corner of the bathroom door, she glanced down the hallway, then stepped out having seen no one. She was going to make it without having to embarrass herself by running into anyone! Oh, thank god!

Unfortunately, once she'd made it back to the door to her dorm room and gone looking for the key to get back in, she felt her stomach twist nervously. Oh god, she'd left her keys inside! She panicked again; she couldn't get in without her keys, and while she had a roommate, the last thing she wanted do was wake her and the rest of the dorm hall up by pounding on the door. After taking a few moments to think, she admitted defeat, moving back to press her back against the wall directly across from her dorm room door and lowering herself to the ground, legs tucked in to one side and toiletries bag by placed in by her other side. Well, she'd just have to wait until her room mate woke up or someone else came along. In a co-ed dorm, though, she really hoped it would be the former. She'd damn near die of mortification and embarrassment if one of the boys found her out here in her little night dress, or worse one of the teachers.

Dave Wald woke early on saturday morning. He slid out of bed and opened the window to let the first rays of morning sunshine into his single bedroom. It was the same room he'd been in for the past three years. He was lucky that way. He was quite happy with his ability to keep the room for that long. He grabbed some clean clothes and went across the hall into the bathroom. He showered quickly and dried off. Dave pulled on his pink shirt and his pants. He knew most guys wouldn't be caught dead in a shirt the colour of his, but he didn't care. He liked it and thought he looked good in it. He fixed his hair up, trying a different style than normal. He shaved and put on his watch. He was nearly ready for the day. After returning to his room he put on socks and shoes and left to get breakfast.

He enjoyed his stroll to the cafeteria that was just opening up. He sat and relaxed, eating slowly. He was a fairly casual guy. A third year psychology student. He had a good group of friends, but wasn't a partier. He thought of himself as an average guy. He got decent grades, was friendly, looked maybe a little better than average. He was taller than most of his friends at 6'2". He also had a naturally strong, broad build, but wasn't any body builder. He kept fit, but never bothered trying to gain muscle mass. Dave had only dated one girl since starting college, and it had not lasted long. He just didn't bother with them, deciding to focus more on just having good friends and doing well in his classes.

After his breakfast Dave went back toward the dorms. He waved to a few people he recognised as they went to get their breakfasts. He got to his building and stepped inside. He went upstairs and got to his floor. As he went down the hall toward his room he saw a girl sitting on the floor. She looked fairly cute, and nervous, probably because of what she was wearing. He assumed she was locked out. He smiled and went over to her. "Hi there. I'm Dave. Did you get locked out? That happened to me back when I was in first year. I had to wait outside my room in a pair of boxers until security showed up to let me back in."

It was stupid, in hindsight, that she'd left the dorm room without her clothes. Calleigh supposed it was due in no small part to the fact that she was so used to changing in the dorm room rather than the bathrooms. It was a force of habit that had made her leave them behind. One quite visit to the bathrooms to brush her teeth and freshen up and then she'd be back to get dressed and head off to breakfast. Yeah, right. it seemed that today just wasn't her day.

Calleigh felt her stomach drop sharply when she heard someone approaching and felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment when she realised that it was, to her dismay, one of the boys who . She looked at the ground, hoping he wasn't going to take much notice of her. Maybe he'd pass on by, after all, she had been stupid enough to lock herself out. Sadly, she had no such luck. She noticed him stop close to her and lifted her blue gaze to him, her blush deepening slightly. Of course, it had to be one of the tall, cute boys that found her. She was starting to wish that she was still asleep or at least in her room and out of this uncomfortable mess. It took her a few short moments to find her voice, at which point she smiled, her embarrassment obvious. "Oh.. uhm. Hi." She laughed awkwardly, remembering her manners and getting to her feet, trying to keep her night dress covering as much of her as was possible.

She laughed again, looking at the floor for a split second before she returned her gaze to him again. "Yeah. I just went down to the bathroom and I.." she gestured to her door ".. left my keys behind." She relaxed slightly when she heard his story, relief washing over her as she learned that she was not the only one. "Wow, heh, so it's not just me then!" she trilled happily, checking herself after a moment and realising she should probably tone it down. She cleared her throat, tugging subconsciously at the hemline of her dress. "I have a room mate, but she's still asleep and she gets cranky when she's woken up. And I didn't really want to wake other people up by banging on the door." And then she suddenly realised that she hadn't introduced herself, while he had already done so. "Oh, god, I'm sorry. I'm Calleigh!" She held a hand out to him, a gesture of habit, manners and tradition.

Dave quickly picked up on the embarrasment the younger girl was feeling. He held his gaze on her eyes, trying to avoid making her feel uncomfortable. It wasn't hard since she had pretty eyes. He smiled as she showed her relief at hearing his story. She still appeared nervous though. His years of psych classes and counseling training had made him very good at observation, and at listening. He picked up on her nervous movements. He listened to her talk about why she was just waiting outside and he nodded.

He chuckled a little as she appoligised and introduced herself quite suddenly. He smiled at her and took her hand, shaking it. Her hand was quite soft. It felt nice. He held on for a little longer than he probably should have before he let go.

"It is nice to meet you Calleigh. It would have been nicer to meet under better circumstances. As for your problem, you can use my phone to try calling your room mate. If that does not work you can call security and they can open the door. If they won't because of your room mate then you may just have to wait a while. As for clothes, you can borrow one of my shirts and a pair of shorts. They might be a bit big on you, but they will be less embarrasing than what you have on now. If you want, of course."

He felt as if he was talking too much, but he wanted to help. As soon as he finished he shut his mouth and leaned back against the wall. He wondered what she thought of his offer. His light blue eyes searched hers in the moments before she responded. Looking for some clue about what she was thinking. For some reason he felt worried that he had said too much. The small amount of time in reality that it took for her to respond felt like an hour to him.One of the things he felt very self conscious about was about how much he talked. He worried that people thought he said too much. He didn't want Calleigh thinking that about him right after meeting him. He cursed himself internally and hoped that she hadn't noticed.

Calleigh wasn't put off at all by his offer. In fact, it surprised her. Many of the guys around here had other things on their minds and were not nearly as thoughtful, nor as sweet as Dave seemed to be. She smiled at him gratefully and nodded gently, thankful that she could feel her blush slowly fading away. "It's nice to meet you too, Dave. Are you sure? That would be great, but I wouldn't want to impose on you or your time." She said carefully. She wasn't sure how long it was going to take her to get someone to let her into her own dorm room, so she didn't want him to feel like he had to hang around waiting just because of her stupid mistake. "I can just wait here. I mean, my room mate is bound to wake up eventually." She offer, shrugging one of her shoulders gently.

She when she felt embarrassment grip her all over again when he mentioned her clothes, looking down and fiddling with her night dress again before she returned her pretty eyes to him. Did she really look that terrible? It would probably embarrassing for him t be seen standing around with someone still in their night dress too. Oh, she hadn't thought of that. She almost apologised again, but she managed to avoid that. "Oh, that'd be nice, if you wouldn't mind. I don't know how long I would be able to get away with having this thing on." She said with another slightly nervous laugh. In retrospect, Dave was probably one of the better people to have bummed into. Some of the others may have taken it as an opportunity to laugh and sneer, to start up some nasty rumours or to take what advantage they could.

They suffered the same problem, really. If he felt he talk too much or got carried away he'd met his match in Calleigh. Her bright personality and her friendly nature (dimmed somewhat but the utter embarrassment of this whole situation, of course) meant she liked to talk to people. And she always had a tendency to babble a little. It was either something you found endearing, or something you found annoying. It all depended on the person. "Hey, just in case I forget to say this, because I have a tendency to lost track of my thoughts or ramble or something.." oh, as if he hadn't already noticed that, Calleigh ".. thanks. For, you know, stopping. Other people would have ignored me completely." She appreciated his offer, appreciated the simple fact that he'd stopped, and she just wanted to make sure she told him.

Dave nodded his assurance when Calleigh asked if he was sure he'd be willing to help. He wanted to help her. She was clearly a first year. It was hard to figure out the year of most students, but first years stuck out. Most people ignored them, but not Dave. He smiled at her again when she accepted his offer of lending her some clothes until she got into her room. Once again she showed her nervousness. It wasn't as bad though. He was glad she was getting more comfortable.

Just as he was about to go to his room to get his phone for her to use, she spoke again. She thanked him, which made him happy. "You're welcome. Now, let's start fixing this." He reached out and took her by the hand. He led her down the hall to his room. He reached into his pocket for his key. A few moments later he realised it wasn't in his pocket. He checked a couple of other spots and couldn't find it. Then he remembered leaving it in a different spot than normal the night before. It was probably why he forgot. He sighed and looked over at Calleigh. "Well, it seems you aren't the only one that forgot keys this morning.... luckily I have a spare that I keep just in case." He quickly knelt by his door and pulled up a loose edge of carpet. He picked up the spare key hidden underneath and opened the door with it before putting it back in its hiding spot.

Once in his room he invited Calleigh in with a polite gesture. He went over to his dresser and opened a drawer. He pulled out a smaller shirt that would fit her better. He then opened another drawer and got a pair of shorts that would also hopefully not just fall down on her. He went back over to her and handed them over, hoping she would approve of his choices. As she looked at the garments, he grabbed his phone off of his desk and placed it near her. "Here, use this to call your room mate, security, or anyone else you think might be able to help get you into your room. Don't worry about minutes or anything. Try as many people as you want."

His room was nice, tidy and about the size of hers. She just glanced around at first, checking an exit plan as her daddy had always taught her. She did not think it would be needed though. Dave seemed nicer than anyone else she had met this year. She smiled at him and accepted the items, looking around the room for a place to change. Do you have Security programmed in this? She was not gonna try her place, her roommate was not at all nice when she was awakened after a wild night out! Where? She lifted up the clothes and gave him a quizzical look and blushed at him.

Dave looked over at Calleigh as she asked if he had security programmed into the phone. Then she asked where she could change, or at least that was what she seemed to be wondering. He thought for a moment. Then he came up with solutions for both problems. He quickly opened a desk drawer and pulled out a card given to many students, letting them know security numbers, including rez security. He handed it over to Calleigh. "Here, this should have the number you need. As for where to change, you could either change in the closet, or I can just turn around and promise not to peek. Or even better, I can just stand in the closet."

With that said he simply decided it was the best option. He turned and opened the closet. He stepped inside the small space and stood there, waiting for Calleigh to be dressed and ready for him to look. He smiled slightly to himself. He was glad he could help the first year girl. He didn't expect or even want anything in return. His helping was meant to be true altruism.

She smiled, and chuckled lightly as he closed himself in the closet for her. She turned away from the closet and slipped off her night dress and put on his shirt. She buttoned a few buttons before trying on the shorts. She pulled them up, let go and they dropped to the floor. She tried again, same thing. She looked but there was no string inside to tighten the band with. She cursed softly and heard the closet chuckle. Dave? Are you watching me?? She smiled at the closet and gave up with the shorts. She folded them and put them back into the drawer he had taken them out of. Then she began to look around his room. He had a very nice collection of classic books for reading, and many on psychology and mental health. There were a few pictures around, here and there, and nice artworks on the wall. She picked up a trinket to examine it and found it to be very old, ancient in fact. She wondered if he knew what he had? Then she blushed as she remembered, he was still in the closet! Even if he could see her, he was not letting her know it. Umm, Dave? I'm decent...well as decent as I am gonna get without my own clothes, anyway. You can come out of the closet now. She kept looking at his collectibles as he re-entered his own room and walked over to her. She could not believe her stomach growled just as he got close enough to hear it! She blushed again, and did not look at him, much too embarrassed by her lack of control. Momma would be so disappointed if she found out! She totally engrossed her attention into the item in her hands, hoping he had not heard.

While he waited Dave listened to what Calleigh was doing. At one point he heard the distinct sound of clothes hitting the ground a couple of times. He guess what had happened and chuckled to himself. He didn't actually look. He heard her ask if he was watching and he simply didn't respond. Clearly she didn't mind too much if he looked since she had only just asked if he was watching. He figured that she would be upset if she thought he was actually watching and didn't want him doing as such.

He eventually started wondering what was taking her so long. He was tempted to peek out of the closet and see what she was up to. Then she said she was decent, so he opened the closet and left. He went over to her and heard her stomach growl. He said nothing about it. She seemed focused on something in her hand. He looked at it and smiled. "That is just something I got from my grandfather when he passed away. Many of the things in here are the same. Most of the little trinkets and old books. They have a lot of sentimental value, but I don't think they have much real value. Anyway, aren't you going to call security? You know, to get into your room?" He smiled and picked up the phone, handing it to her. He took a seat on his bed and let her make the call. He looked around the room at the various things his grandfather had previously owned. Almost all of them he had seen during visits to his grandparents' house as a child. Still, most of the things in his room were his own. The things from his grandfather just stuck out because they were different, and old.

He walked over by her and she could smell his musky scent in the air. Holding onto a valuable trinket like this, she gently put it down where she got it. Do you know anything about the things from your grandfather? She turned and he was right there! She elbowed him in the stomach! She started to apologize when he bent over and they bumped heads! OMG! She saw stars and became dizzy, starting to fall to the floor. He was fast! He regained his composure and caught her just in time. She giggled and groaned, at the same time rubbing her head. She smiled at him, really seeing him now. He was handsome, with broad shoulders, an athlete she would guess...maybe a swimmer??? He held her easily with one hand, he was strong. He was obviously kind and giving, and she wondered if the same applied to all his activities. Her face flushed as she thought of sex and she hoped he had not noticed. I bet you have all the girls falling for you.

Suddenly Dave felt an elbow in his gut. It caught him off guard. He bent over and their heads collided. He groaned, but then noticed her falling. He quickly reached out and caught her. He slowly helped her to her feet and noticed her blushing. He didn't really think anything of it. Her comment made him wonder what she was thinking about. It was his turn to blush. He took a step back and looked at the floor. "Uh...I'm not so sure of that. I haven't had a girlfriend in a while." He looked back up and regained his focus. He decided to sit on the bed. It seemed like the best spot to be to avoid further distraction. He looked over at the girl. She didn't seem to be acting like most of the girls he knew. She was definitely cute though.

"Uh...I'm not so sure of that. I haven't had a girlfriend in a while." I don't believe that. She smiled at him then another trinket caught her eye. She walked over to the piece and picked it up carefully. It was a black-glazed piece of pottery from ancient Greece. She turned it over to see if the lion that was supposed to be there .... it was! She set it back down and turned to him. Do you have any idea what this is? She goes over and sits by him on the bed and explains. I am an art history major. This one piece is ancient Greek pottery....I'm talking circa 325 BC! She starts to bubble as she talks about how special the piece is. She is animated, excited to tell him what she knows. She leans over and kisses him passionately, then continues with the rapid speech about the pottery. She gets lost when she looks back at him, and begins to stammer, wondering why he is looking at her like she had just slapped him. What? What did I say wrong? Are you OK? Oh! I must be rambling on and on. I am so sorry. I get carried away, sometimes.

Dave looked at Calleigh and wondered if she would ever phone security to get into her room. It seemed like she was distracted easily. Just when he thought she was going to make the call she spotted a piece of pottery and examined it. He sighed. Great, he had picked the one first year that had a strange obsession with old things. He only had them there because of his grandfather. He didn't know where or why his grandfather had owned them, but he had put them to good use. He remembered that particular piece as a candy bowl. It had sat on the coffee table for years. Most of the other pieces that she seemed to think were valuable had been things used for various purposes.

As Calleigh continued going on about the piece of pottery he wondered what he could do to get her to stop talking. She was definitely stranger than any other first year girl. At least she would probably do well in her classes with excitement at that level. Then she surprised him, kissing him. He froze completely for at least a minute. Then he tried to regain his thoughts. "Uh...what...what was that? You...you...kissed...me? Why? I thought you needed to use my phone. Not...not that it wasn't nice....it was nice...but I don't even know you. Are you going to use my phone or not?" He really didn't know what else to say. One thing was for sure, if she ever visited his room again he would need to hide his grandfather's things. As for her kiss, it had been nice, but he wasn't the kind of guy to just jump into bed with someone. He had met her less than half an hour ago. It had also been completely unexpected.

I did it again, huh? I get nervous energy build ups when I find antiques. Sexual activity, like kissing seems to help. I'm sorry if it offended you. I will call Security and get out of your hair. She picked up the phone and entered the number and waited for her turn to speak. Yes, I left my keys in my room. How long will it take for security to help me back into my dorm? She listened quietly about some prank on campus. She nodded at the lady in Security and ended the call. She was dazed and confused now. She said there is a disturbance on campus, and it will be hours before Security can help me. I will call my roommate and see if she is up yet. She dials her roommates number and leaves a message. Not up yet, went straight to her voice-mail. Its OK, I can go back out into the hall. I have more covering me now then I did before. You have been so kind, I don't want to take any more of your time. Here and thanks again. It was nice to meet you. Handing him back his phone she gets up and heads for the door. Stopping once more to look at all of his grandfather's unique antiques. And to look at him one last time. She had never met anyone quite like him before. Even in the deep South where she is from, men are not as gentle and kind as he.

Dave didn't know what to think about the girl. She had done that before? Maybe she shouldn't be studying art history. What would her professional life be like if she kissed people after getting excited about something. He watched her try calling security and was surprised by the fact it would take them so long to help her. Then she tried her room mate, but there was no answer there either. Then she said she could go wait in the hall. She got up to leave, pausing at the door. He let out a soft sigh. "You don't need to go. I can't let you wait out there like that. Stay here until your room mate cets up or security gets here. We can play cards or something while we wait. If not that, I am sure we can figure out something to do. Just maybe not discuss my grandfather's things. All I know about them is that he used them. That piece of pottery was a candy bowl. Everything I have from him had some purpose that I remember. That is why I keep them." He smiled at her. He couldn't let her wait in the hall, but he also wanted to avoid the awkwardness that had come from the kiss.

She had her hand on the door knob, about to open the door, when he spoke. "You don't need to go. I can't let you wait out there like that. Stay here until your room mate gets up or security gets here. We can play cards or something while we wait. If not that, I am sure we can figure out something to do. Just maybe not discuss my grandfather's things. All I know about them is that he used them. That piece of pottery was a candy bowl. Everything I have from him had some purpose that I remember. That is why I keep them." She was unsure, she did not want to take up his time, but she wasn't exactly thrilled about sitting in the hall in his shirt either. She turned around to make sure he was sincere. The confused look on his face made her want to cry. His look was because of what she did, her inability for self-control. She walked over to the big chair he had in front of his TV. She pulled her legs up under her and faced him, smiling. I have an idea. We could talk, get to know each other. I don't have many friends yet, I'm kind of shy. I can start, if you want me too. This is your room and if you want me to sit here and be silent until security comes, I will do so. She waits patiently for him to decide.

As Calleigh moved to sit Dave watched her. She was smiling, he was glad of that. She made the suggestion of talking and getting to know eachother. He would have really prefered something more distracting, but as long as she didn't get carried away, he would be fine. He was surprised when she said she didn't have many friends and that she was shy. She didn't seem to be too shy with him. He didn't worry about it and he nodded. "Sure, we can talk. Why don't you tell me about yourself. Why did you choose this school? I'm sure there are plently of places with good art history programs. What is so special about this place?"

She moved to get a bit more comfortable in his chair and started. She told him about growing up in the South, the old parties and the old stories that everyone had back home. She twirled a finger in her hair absent-mindedly as she told him about her Grandmother. Her face lit a little as she remembered the woman who shared her love of art and antiques with her. Those were special times, just for me. No one else seemed interested in the stories and the history. I was fascinated. When we went to sales, or auctions, and I found a nice piece, she always kissed me. She smiled and looked out the window, pausing for a moment. She did not care if the pieces were priceless or worthless, she loved them all. She said it was because I picked them, no one else.

She went here, when she was my age. There were no co-ed dorms, and classes were even separate. But she always talked about this place and the adventures she found here. I told her I would go here someday, too. She passed away last year, leaving me a four-year scholarship to this school. She thought of everything.
A few tears threatened to fall but she was able to sniffle and keep most at bay. I won’t have to pay for anything while I am here. Well, maybe a hidden key or something like that.

Your turn, why did you pick this school? Where are you from? Fun things like that.
She smiled at him, and sat waiting for his replies. She was truly interested in others and she hoped it would not make him uncomfortable.

Dave listened as Calleigh told him of her life and why she was at the school. It really explained a lot to him. She got her love of antiques from her grandmother, and her habit of kissing when getting excited about a piece. It also made a lot of sense as to why she was at the school. When she finished explaining he nodded. Then she asked him to explain why he was there. He smiled. For him it was more simple.

"I am from a city near this one. I was born and raised there. That is one of the reasons I am here now. I was a rower all through high school and this school has a great team. I was part of it in my first year, but it takes too much time and energy. Both of which I would rather focus on my studies. The school also has a good psychology department. That is the main reason I am here. I am studying to become a counsellor. After this year I have just one year remaining in my degree. I am nearing the end of it and it is getting more interesting with every class. Well, that is pretty much why I am here." He looked at her, hoping it was a sufficient answer.

They continued talking for a while, leaning about eachother. After some time had passed Dave looked at a clock. He then took his phone and tossed it to Calleigh again. "It has been a while. Maybe you could try your room mate again. She might be up by now, or might at least respond to your call." He smiled at her. He was glad he had met her, and gotten to know her, but he figured she had to be hungry and wanting to get back into her room. He heard more foot steps in the hall and figured people were starting to wake up. Her room mate could easily be awake at that point, but then again, he didn't know the girl at all.

She smiled and called her roommate again. Again the call went right to voice-mail. Thinking a bit slower now, her blood sugar had been steadily dropping all morning, she again tried to call security. She put the call on speaker and again the lady said there was a problem and it would be hours before security could be there to help. She thanked her and closed the cell phone, holding it for a few minutes. Dave, do you have texting on this? I could send Mia a text. She will get that way before she would ever get a voice-mail! She got up and went over to the bed and handed him back his phone. She sat casually with her long legs under her, as she had in the chair. Just as she handed him the phone, her body growled. Did she eat last night? She tried to think, sometimes she did not like the cafeteria menu options and chose not to eat. She looked at the clock on his wall. She knew if she did not eat supper, lunch was her last meal and that was almost 24 hours ago. She had no keys, no clothes and no way to nourish herself. Dave was being super nice to her and she could not ask more of him. She was just going to have to hang in there until she could get back to her room. She needed time, and a distraction. A very BIG distraction, to keep her mind off her hunger. Dave? I not feeling right, not just at this moment. May I lay down and catch my breath? She could not wait, her head hit his bed just as the words left her mouth. She was very lucky she did not hit the wall as she fell. She was not diabetic, so there was no danger, but how could she tell him that now? She was all crumpled up in a heap! This will certainly teach her not to skip meals again. Her mind tried to gather and at least let Dave know she was not that ill. She finally managed to get a couple of words strung that sounded to her like they made sense. Dave.............sugar............please............

Dave watched as Calleigh tried calling her room mate again, then security. He was annoyed with the response from security. She asked if she could text with his phone and he nodded. When she moved to his bed he simply watched her. Suddenly he heard her stomach growl. She sounded very hungry. He was about to get up and offer to get her some food when she asked to lay down. He looked at her just as she seemed to collapse. He was immediately worried for her and got to his feet. He wondered what was wrong with her. After a little while she struggled to ask him for sugar. He nodded and thought about where he had some.

He turned away from the bed and remembered a care package sent by his mother some time ago. He knew he had some candy in there he had not eaten. He spent a few seconds diggin around until he found it. He pulled out a bag of hard candies and opened it. He then went back over to the bed and knelt down. He handed her a few of the candies, hoping they would be what she needed to recover at least a little. He would then rush to get her whatever she needed, or call an ambulance. He was already reaching for his phone. He knelt there next to her, phone in hand, waiting to see what would happen to her. He focused to hold back the panic that had been creeping up on him

He unwrapped a piece of candy and slipped it into her mouth. She began to feel a bit better within a few moments. She was vaguely aware that two of the three buttons she had fastened on his shirt had come undone and the bottom hem no longer covered her high-cut light blue panties. She groaned and stretched out, getting more comfortable. Turning on her side, fully aware now, she smiled at him and asked, Do you have....anything I could eat? Maybe some peanut butter and crackers? I hate to trouble you to go all the way to the cafeteria, just for me. You have been so kind to me already. Thank you for everything. He looked at her with such fear in his eyes, she stroked his cheek gently as she thanked him, trying to reassure him she would be alright. She thought about giving him a light kiss, but the last one had made him so uncomfortable. She settled for lightly licking her lips and smiling again.

Dave was focused on her safety. He noticed the loosening of the shirt, but didn't care. He didn't stare at all. He looked her her face to see if she was getting better. When she seemed to have a good reaction he smiled. He was relieved. She asked about food and he thought. He didn't have any in his room, at least not anything that could be considered a meal. He slowly stood up and grabbed his wallet from the desk. "I don't have anything here, but I am happy to go get you something from the cafeteria. I will be back as soon as possible. Is there anything you want in particular?" He slid his wallet into his pocket and started moving toward the door. It was clear she needed a full meal to recover.

Anything will be fine. Something small to pass until lunch....maybe a banana or some other fruits? She smiled and propped herself up on her elbow to show him she was becoming stronger. Maybe something for us to drink? She had seen his fear turn to relief and she was pleased. He was a very caring man, he will make a very empathetic psychologist, a very fine doctor. She put another piece of candy in her mouth and decided to just suck on it until he came back. She hoped he would return soon, she had been having a nice time getting to actually know someone else.
