The longest and greatest! I love Memorial Sunday. It will be a long day in the Queen City for sure. NASCAR needs to go to wet tires! If today had been the old Indianapolis GP, Verstappen would've lapped the field. The longest day in racing is just going to get a LOT longer. It's raining in Charlotte
Alonso is the only one really close to challenging. If the upgrades Mercedes made hold then it’s possible Lewis and George can start getting consistent podiums, but as of now, the Bull’s are the team to beat.uggggggh, more Max?!?! @HumpDayHoratio you think RB is going to sweet the entire schedule?
Love seeing Merc come in with that large of an upgrade package. Alonso looks in prime form and having Aston in the fight is great, but Stroll is too weak of a driver to allow them to stay in a top Constructors spot, I feel. If LH44 and George can push this car to the limits, I feel like they could pull off 2nd in the Constructors, just seems like there’s NO stopping Horner and the Bulls.Alonso is the only one really close to challenging. They’re pushing them for sure, but I don’t see people buying them in mass and the ones that are it’s more of an “it” thing, think Tesla. Every manufacturer has to have one in the stable I guess, so they look relevant. With electric cars in the news EVERY DAY and how they will save the planet, how long will we enjoy the sound and smell of a piston engined F1 racecar? I've seen some E racecars on TV, they remind me of scalextric. An analogy might be the feel of a quartz watch against a Swiss made miniature marvel. Only one has a 'soul', a sense of achievement and wonder.
63M.......If I wanted to travel into the future, I wouldn't start from here.
I heard he passed Senna with this.Got home late and caught the last few laps of Canada, once again Fernando gave a stellar drive. Looks like Mercedes may finally be coming back, shame about Russell though. Did they say that this win puts Max equal to Senna’s total?
Regarding Checo - I have a feeling that he's suffering from classic 2nd driver syndrome. He knows he's not as good a driver as Max (though the gap is marginal as it should be at this level), he knows if it came to hard racing Max is more ruthless, and the team have to back the higher driver. So he's committed, but not hungry, because most of the time being hungry for second place isn't a thing* (especially as he's the only driver that can't console themselves quietly by whispering 'car advantage' to themselves.Good clean race. The Scuderia has me shaking my head? Mercedes is improving, and Fernando is proving this no fluke. Not sure what happened with Checco, something In qualifying maybe?
I didn’t hear Max had tied Senna till today looking for a pix to post. Heady company for sure. If Red Bull continues on like this for a few years, he’ll easily be right up with Lewis.

Been rooting for Norris for a while. Think he's just waiting for a decent drive. But is he hungry enough?Would love to see Lando Norris replace Lance Stroll now that Aston Martin is surging. Ain’t gonna happen of course, but Lando drove a gutsy race yesterday and deserves a contending car.
He's definitely entertainingI would like to see Yuki Tsunoda get a seat with a more competitive team
