fraud in mail in voting - prove it

it's not being ignored it's just not really relevant to the conversation....it's just another "orange man BAD!!!" from Adre.

He's got a great track record.
With great confidence, he predicted the return of Bill to the White House.

And in this thread we're getting a lot of that...

THERE IS NONE! PROVE IT!

YOU JUST PROVED THAT WE CATCH IT..

... oh, I forget, we have none...

That's because the reality here is, they don't care if there is voter fraud, as long as it's their team that's doing it? It's all good.

That's why they always deny it's existence and consider any sort of voter security measures to be racist voter suppression.

It's not that (D)'s are covering for anything, they're just standing up against racism because people of color are too stupid to obtain ID and that's why voter ID is racist!!

ONLY if you operate on the assumption that we catch 100% of it.

All or none is almost always a rather absurd presumption....especially when it comes to human behavior.

And yet...and yet....YOU more than anyone else on this board routinely move the goalposts and go "all or nothing" when ascribing positions to those you disagree with.

You do this so often that I'm going to bookmark this post for posterity to rub your nose in this when you do this in the future.

I'm sure you have some rationalization about how it's not goalpost moving when YOU do it, just like you had a rationalization of how something is not racism when YOU do it ("dating preferences") and just like you had a rationalization of how something is not ad hominem when YOU do it ("because I really really believe it's TRUE).

"If some then all" is a core tenet of your toxic shitsludge ideology.

Ignoring the problem, or that there even is a problem......yeah.....that’ll work just great!!!

Move along.....move along.......

And yet...and yet....YOU more than anyone else on this board routinely move the goalposts and go "all or nothing" when ascribing positions to those you disagree with.

No, I don't...that's the behavior you dishonestly claim I engage in when I call you out for your anti-American political positions you take up and can't defend.

"If some then all" is a core tenet of your toxic shitsludge ideology.

Says the guy who supports the myth of "white privilege" because racist gotta racist.

No, it's not, it's a core tenet of YOURS that you desperately try to project on me to feel better about yourself.

Along with all the racial slurs and other ad hom you use to defend your anti-American political positions with.

No proof of fraud, anywhere, ever, NONE!!!

IT DOESN'T EVER HAPPEN!

Now you're using an article that ambiguously states there is a disparity between the ballots counted and those tracked but does not specify what kind of imbalance it was, to insist it IS voter fraud? It is ambiguous because the article doesn't state HOW it was out of balance. More ballots sent out than returned (most probable) which could be people not bothering to vote, or more returned then mailed (doubtful) which has never happened that I'm aware of?

Calling that voter fraud at this stage is a real stretch. If the positions were reversed, would you accept a vague insinuation from a preliminary investigation proof? I didn't think so. Get back to me when they have finished the investigation.

IF it is discovered...

IF you are admitting that it happens,
THEN you must consider the possibility that it is not always detected.

Please reread my post to Ish. You'll find that it does happen BUT ON A MINISCULE SCALE. And that is verified by the Freedom Foundation, one of your stalworth conservative organizations.

Even though it has happened in Lilliputian amounts, it gets detected and stopped. With the mail-in voting history of decades, I do not believe voter fraud on the scale that has been alluded to can go undetected.

But this is exactly what I've been saying. You and those opposed have screamed to the heavens that it has happened and it will happen on a huge scale come this November but have not offered ANY proof that it happens on a scale large enough to sway an election.

So if you have proof of that please present it. I'd also keep an eye on the Detroit election, it may be the one to prove your point.

Many proofs have been posted.

The fact that you do not acknowledge them
just prove that this is a partisan issue with you
and that you suspect that your party benefits from it.

There have been several proofs of MINOR fraudulent infractions and many others of SUSPECTED fraudulent actions, but NO PROOF OF ANY on the scale you and your's claim, massive fraud that has or can sway an election. I have acknowledged and refuted (in the context of this discussion) each and every one of them. If you can't see that then I'd advise you to go back and read those posts or do something to sharpen your reading and comprehension skills.

You certainly did stipulate that voter fraud does happen on a miniscule scale and is typically caught.

That, however, didn't stop Ishmael and his faithful Indian companion Housesquaw from restating your position that it NEVER happened, and without voter IDs from #ThosePeople it will happen in massive amounts in 2020, becoz reasons.

What was it that KoreanKaren said recently? Oh yeah....
All or none is almost always a rather absurd presumption.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP’S campaign, ordered by a federal court judge in Pennsylvania to back up its claims of fraud in the state’s vote-by-mail system, has documented only a handful of cases of election fraud in recent years — none of which involved mail-in ballots. The revelation, which came in the form of a partially redacted 524-page document produced by the Trump campaign last week, undermines the claim by Trump team operatives that mail-in ballot fraud is a grave risk to Pennsylvania voters.
This is far from the first time that Republicans have failed to substantiate their frequent claims that voter fraud is a persistent problem in American elections. In 2018, one of U.S.’s most prominent crusaders against voter fraud, then-Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, was asked by a district court to produce evidence that noncitizens were voting in his home state of Kansas. Kobach brought forth witnesses, but their testimony fell apart on cross examination. Judge Julie Robinson wrote in her opinion that “evidence that the voter rolls include ineligible citizens is weak. At most, 39 [non]citizens have found their way onto the Kansas voter rolls in the last 19 years.” The rare known cases of voter fraud were not the tip of the iceberg, she concluded, “there is no iceberg; only an icicle, largely created by confusion and administrative error.”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation said Wednesday that it has not seen a "coordinated national voter fraud effort during a major election."

"We're fully aware that COVID-19 and the expectation of the increased mail-in ballots has created a new environment for this election cycle," a senior FBI official told reporters on a conference call. "However, we have not seen to date a coordinated national voter fraud effort during a major election. It would be extraordinarily difficult to change a federal election outcome through this type of fraud alone, given the range of processes that we need to be affected or compromised by an adversary, at the local level."

A senior intelligence official said there has been no information or intelligence that any nation-state is engaging in activities to undermine any part of the mail-in vote or ballots.

"Foreign propaganda and other influence activities have been concerns since the founding of our Republic, but they are challenges that we’ve been successfully navigating for more than two hundred years," Rosen said in prepared remarks.

A separate FBI official reiterated that both Russia and China are trying to disrupt the U.S. election.

Trump-appointed elections commissioner says ‘no real evidence’ of president’s claims about voter fraud

The head of a key federal election agency said Wednesday that the president's attacks against the United States Postal Service and mail-in voting were "unfortunate" and expressed confidence the election in November would be carried out fairly.

Ben Hovland, chairman of the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, was appointed to his post by President Donald Trump last year. In an interview with the PBS NewsHour, he said "When you talk to election officials, you know, Republicans, Democrats across the country, people that this is their job and this is what they do — they have trust in this system. They know it works. They've been doing it for years."

Hovland added that officials have been preparing for a pandemic election since late March, and he's "heartened to see that work firsthand and hear from election officials about all they're doing to make November as smooth as possible. It gives me great confidence in the system," he said.

Hovland said he wouldn’t “speculate as to the reasons” behind Trump’s attacks on mail-in voting, “but what I can tell you is that it absolutely doesn’t help.”

Hovland said that “time and time again, this issue has been looked at…there’s been study after study. There was a presidential commission created. There have been countless lawsuits on this issue. And when the rubber hits the road, there has been no real evidence.”

Now, Trump is singing a different tune and saying this magical fraud will happen in the “election offices” when the votes are being counted.

Sorry, Trump...

There is no such thing as an “election office.” Not to mention the fact that poll workers who are the people that count the votes. Poll workers are appointed to each and every municipality by the parties. Meaning Republicans and Democrats submit lists of names. Those municipalities must use those people in even numbers to work the polls. If the parties do not submit names then poll workers are selected by the municipality from lists of volunteers and marked as undeclared. Election judges are also named by the parties and are even in number. Each party may also have poll watchers that are there at the polls and/or during the counting process to observe.

Trump says election workers, not USPS, could lead to 2020 miscount
Trump has routinely railed against mail-in voting as Democrats seek to expand access to casting absentee ballots because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“The problem is when they dump all these [ballots] in front of a few people who are counting them, and they're going to count them wrong,"

It's not the post office," Trump said. "No, it's the elections office. The post office — look, this is a con job. It's like the Russian hoax. The post office has run the way it's been run forever." He added that new Postmaster General Louis DeJoy will do a good job. "But the post office is the post office."

^^^That also includes absentee ballots. I can tell you that Republicans are much better at sending in their lists of poll workers.

I didn’t read through the entire thread but I had a small package mailed from Texas on June 20th. It arrived in Florida 2 days later and sat. I received it yesterday! So, what should have taken a week, took 2 months. In general, that is concerning
