Who were the artists for these exciting tales ?

It always puzzled me how the 'victim' always seemed to have 'sufficient clothing' in the appropriate areas AND neat hair & lipstick.

10c ? By the time they made it over here, that was a great deal more. . . .

And speaking of "over there"...even though it's been 44 years, every time I think of my introduction to London, I don't think first of Westminster Abbey, or Trafalgar Square, or the double decker buses, or even the Royals. Nah, I get this craving for a big ole sloppy Wimpy and chips! :D

I think I remember the Wimpy Bar Kid. . . .

PS. Have we an expert on the American Indian I can consult, please?

And this means ?
What's West Virginia got to do with it (these jokes are well beyond me!)

Perhaps it is just as well, HP :)

Almost heaven, West Virginia,
Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River.
Life is old there, older than the trees,
Younger than the mountains, blowing like a breeze.

Sorry about that, HP. I occasionally forget that some of our US regional humor gets lost in translation when crossing of the big pond.

West Virginia has a reputation here for cousins dating and marrying each other...my response was taking the "cousins" reference and trying to be funny in my reply.

If I offer to buy you some bangers & mash and a pint of ale, may I be forgiven for assuming without spelling it first? :D

Only one way to associate that...

Mountain Momma

John Denver: [take me home, ] Country Road ?

So's this one:-
[Frankly, I feel rather sorry for the horses; and the guy looking after them]
