I have to confess that the concept of a "Marching Band" [the way you guys do it] is kinda foreign to me. Apart from special events like the Edinburgh Tatoo (there are few others) we seldom see that sort of thing these days. There used to be a Military tatoo down in London, but I don't think we've seen it lately.
But we occasionally do get some seriously good "acts". This was thier first visit, and they are great.

Was the band ALL those on the field ?
Reckon there was a couple of years practice (do the members ever go to classes ?)
I cannot help wondering, though, how much of that precision was lost on those in the ordinary seats.

Yep, HP. The band is made up of 192 regular, on-field members and 33 alternates.

As far as the "couple years of practice" you assumed, during football season the band performs at every weekly game and have a different show at each and every one. Yes, they are that good!
