Used to live in another building of same complex with relative. Relative would exchange greetings as people passed, after which I'd turn & say something like, "Probability that one will kill you is...".

Went to a doc briefly about 13 hours ago, & carpet in hallways gone. Relative asked if I like the new stuff, or even know if I will. I'd prefer we have none, so I can hear anyone approach. (Last I knew, old carpet still on stairs, but not on landing between 'cases.)

We live in an apartment block of 24 floors. The tile floors get swept and mopped daily by staff. Don't know too many of the neighbours but meet them in the lift occasionally. They don't look too dangerous to me.

I live in the middle of nowhere, and the neighbors still manage to annoy me.

1] Mother, sibling, & I took free tour of local courthouse after a major renovation... Sibling is claustrophobic, but Mom & I have weak legs, so we took elevator while sib took stairs... Elevator got stuck, & older people inside said they were going to send me through roof if stuck too long.

2] When I moved here just over year ago, got key-card for building, 2 keys for apartment locks, & key for doors on sides of building (one that works for each/both)... When I signed new lease, they told me I could rid of the last, as they stopped allowing use to use side doors as entrances (can still exit thru them) months ago.

Summer of the 17th Doll
(classic Aussie play about 2 cane cutters in the 'slack' season and their women, by Ray Lawler)

That Certain Summer

Considered to be the first mainstream United States film release to deal openly with the subject of homosexuality. The two main stars had assumed to have committed professional suicide by playing gay characters in 1972, but the public evidently didn't agree since both Hal Holbrook and Martin Sheen went on to great success over the next four decades.

Glad I mentioned the two canecutters had girlfriends then.

So does having a cat that doesn't realize it has razor blades in its paws. :catroar:

.

Ouch!

I have managed (just) to avoid our dog clawing or punching my balls when she jumps up. But my wife is currently sporting a few long scratches (honest officer, it wasn't me!) from the dog pleading to play ball.

Back when I had my first cat, I learned the hard way hanging out nude is NOT a good thing to do with a playful kitten that likes to bat at anything that dangles!

James Roday (remember he & Dule Hill claimed to both have this name while working a case on "Psych"... James went into a long story about one of them changing it to stop confusion when they both went out... This was just an intro to a case witness!)
