 "Has anyone seen my pussy?"

LOL..of course! I'd completely forgotten that.

How about young Mr Grace? (who was about 95 at least). "You've all done very well!" He made a fortune out of that easy work, and that was really the only thing he said, apart from some agreeable nods occasionally.

Hey! He waved too!

And thanks to Til Death Do Us Part and Norman Lear's talent, we Yanks ended up with All In the Family.

(aka: Trump v1.0 ;) )

and that's the crime: changing a perfectly good name of a sitcom from one that hints at death to one that includes the family.

Says a lot about American sensibilities.
but yes, was it Archie Bunker? He'd vote for Trump?

He'd be campaigning to be his VP! ;)

Don't mention "Britcoms" without "The Office" or "Allo! Allo!"

Also, earlier Thursday, had "Randy Scouse Git" in my head... A song written by Mick(e)y Dolenz about his time while in England, & titled by a phrase he heard used on a show during that time. England required him to give the single an alternate title (for the pre-ITunes days when stores still sold them), & he chose... "Alternate Title"!!

(Also, song includes mention w/o name of his first wife, Samantha, who was then host of "Top Of The Pops"... Or a similar-to-that alternate title.)

I used to know a craft potter who, as she removed each new creation from the kiln, used to say: 'And you're fired too!' :)

That just kilns me!

We used to have a kiln in my elementary school near the place kids got in line for Lunch (remember it being mentioned when we did some projects in Art class), but I never knew what it looked like, so couldn't be sure what thing I saw it was (if any of them).

Chunky. With a thick door. Sometimes a small window. Hey, now that you come to mention it, it reminds me of a neighbour from long ago. :)

Reminds me of a guy I saw this afternoon...

I stopped to check mail. Saw African-American man standing in "lobby" of building, wearing a sleeveless shirt. (Some call them "muscle" shirts, but this ironically showed he had many pounds, but no muscle to speak of.) Neither spoke, as he was looking down at his "smartphone".

I had no mail, so I closed 'box & turned away, only to notice he was no longer there. I spent part of rest of day feeling sorry for him, as I had (& still have) no clue if he was waiting for friend who lived in building who hadn't come to meet him. or lived here himself & was waiting/watching for someone who likewise had not arrived.

Ah, yes. One of the advantages of living in a 'boutique apartment building' is that you soon get to know everyone in the building. :)

Used to live in another building of same complex with relative. Relative would exchange greetings as people passed, after which I'd turn & say something like, "Probability that one will kill you is...".

Went to a doc briefly about 13 hours ago, & carpet in hallways gone. Relative asked if I like the new stuff, or even know if I will. I'd prefer we have none, so I can hear anyone approach. (Last I knew, old carpet still on stairs, but not on landing between 'cases.)
