"Yeah, it's really great." she smiled, "I'm really glad you guys came. I want to know more about your stories. Especially you Amanda, since we haven't gotten a chance to talk. I'd like to know about what life was like for you. In highschool? Before that?" she talked slowly, hoping Amanda wouldn't feel interrogated. She was honestly interested.

As Amanda started to talk, Samantha brought over the girls' purses. "Here you go." she walked off without further explanation, and Stefanie could feel Marissa's curious gaze on her.

Marissa relaxed as they spoke to Stefanie. It really seemed like she was an easy in. She was quiet, letting Amanda talk for a while so Stefanie could get to know her so they would both hopefully get in.

See looked confused when Samantha handed them their purses, shooting a confused look first at Samantha and then at Stefanie, wondering if where was something that was going to be explained about why they had taken their purses, but not everyone else's.

Amanda got up to go to the bathroom, and Stefanie smiled at Marissa, "When you guys get to your cars later, you'll understand." she paused, "It wasn't necessary to take everyone's purses. I promise, you won't be confused later on tonight. But I gotta go mingle! I'm being a rude bitch." she stood up, and then quickly bent down to kiss Marissa on the cheek.

As she walked away, toward another group of girls, she found that her body was a little tingly. She'd never felt that way from a girl before.

Marissa looked at Stefanie, still sort of confused, but deciding to go with it. She kissed Stefanie on the cheek when she left to go mingle, and waited for Amanda to get back from the bathroom before mingling, not wanting to leave her alone.

They talked to some people they had met in classes and in their building until people slowly started leaving. They both decided to follow suit and said goodbye to the girls living in the house before walking out to Marissa's car, both girls picking up a silver envelope from their seat before getting in.

The silver envelopes invited certain girls that the sorority liked to a "tea" the next day at the House. They had taken everyone's purses so that each girl would have no idea who else was chosen. Stefanie really liked Marissa. The rest of the girls didn't want her friend to come, but she knew Marissa was more likely to choose their sorority if she invited her, so Stefanie had convinced the other girls.

The next day, most of the girls had their schedules empty of classes in order to prepare for the tea. The tea was one of the last steps in determining who they would invite to join. It was imperative that everything was perfect, and the girls they wanted were there.

Marissa and stefanie opened their silver envelops nervously, shrieking in their car and hugging when they realized they had both gotten an invitation to tea at the house tomorrow. "I think we're shoe ins" Marissa said excitedly as they drove back to campus and walked back into their dorms.

The girls went into the floor bathroom and changed into their pjs, washed their face and brushed their teeth. They made their way back to their room and crawled into their beds, talking excitedly for a while before going to bed.

The next morning they both got ready together and went to their own classes before returning to their room and changing into sundresses and driving to the house, knocking on the door of the sorority house.
