No, you don't have to be above average.

How old is she, and how many sex partners has she had? I find it rather hard to believe that she's never considered that particular option, even if she's never done it before (which in itself is a little bit hard to believe).

If she really hasn't, then maybe the best way might be for you to gently flip her over, continue any foreplay, oral, and then go from there. It would work for me.

Do you mean anal or doggie? If doggie you don't have to be large to get good penetration. You should just suggest trying this new position, see if she would like to do it and then take it slow.

Maybe tell her you think it'd be really hot and special to do it in front of a mirror, and look her in the eye while you try it. That is, if you would, and believe she'd be comfortable with that.

If so, start by standing behind her, kissing her neck, shoulders, back, stroking her body, etc. Then, depending on where the mirror is, you can have her rest her hands on the dresser, or get down in front of it (on the floor) and go from there.

Or something like that. If you think she could misinterpret your desire to try doggy style, you might want to think of some ways to play up/enhance the sensuality and intimacy.
